1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or bone-coloured primer to preserve fine detail across the cloak, armour trim, and flute.
• Check all recesses around the pauldrons and lace work before proceeding.

2. Armour Base

• Base coat the corset and pauldrons in a deep burgundy or muted teal for a bardic contrast against neutral cloth tones.
• Apply a mid-tone bone or cream across the cloak and skirt panels, leaving recesses slightly darker for natural shading.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the knotwork etching on the pauldrons with a fine brush using gold or aged bronze.
