Forgotten Champions rise from the ashes of a dying age, and Moriel Ashfeather stands among the most feared of their number. A celestial paladin of terrifying grace, she moves across shattered battlefields like a wraith crowned in divine fire, her massive blade carving judgment into the bones of the faithless.
Sculpted by Haito, this highly detailed 32mm resin miniature captures Moriel mid-stride, her horned pauldrons flared, her great sword angled for a devastating sweep. A billowing feathered cloak trails behind her like the wings of a fallen seraph, and a beast skull lies crushed beneath her heel on the ruined stone base. Every surface tells a story of war and cold celestial wrath.
This single-model kit is a centrepiece-quality piece suited to skirmish wargames, tabletop RPG encounters, or display collections. The sculpt is inspired by infernal nobility reimagined through divine purpose, making her ideal for Tiefling-inspired warbands or any force demanding a commanding warrior-priest presence. Two poses are shown in the product render, offering an alternate angle of the same Forgotten Champions character for reference.
Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Resin may require light cleaning and support removal before painting. Recommended for collectors aged 15 and over.
Painting Guide: Moriel Ashfeather - Celestial PaladinBring this Forgotten Champions centrepiece to life with a palette of bone, gold and spectral flame, leaning into her celestial origins while letting the grimness of the battlefield show through every layer.
1. Prime
- Apply a light grey zenithal prime over a black base coat to establish natural shadow and highlight separation before any colour is applied.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat all armour plates with Rakarth Flesh or Ushabti Bone for a worn ivory tone.
- Apply a thinned wash of Seraphim Sepia into recesses to create depth and age.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out horn ornaments, pauldron edges and claw gauntlets with Retributor Armour, shaded with Agrax Earthshade.
- Highlight trim with Liberator Gold and edge highlight using Stormhost Silver for a celestial sheen.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the great sword blade with Runelord Brass, washing with Fuegan Orange for an otherworldly warmth.
- Drybrush lightly with Necron Compound and glaze the upper edge with Lamenters Yellow for a divine glow effect.
5. Weathering
- Stipple chipped edges on armour using Rhinox Hide to suggest brutal combat damage across her crusades.
- Apply a thin oil wash of raw umber across the lower body and cloak to ground her in the ruined earth.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky base with Administratum Grey over Mechanicus Standard Grey, then add a small OSL glow beneath the skull using thinned Hexos Palesun, tying it back to the blade and completing the Forgotten Champions narrative on the tabletop.
