Minoan Warhulks are a squad of five heavily armoured siege warriors, each clad in ornate Terminator-grade plate bearing bull iconography, laurel wreaths, Greek key friezes, and crested Corinthian helms that evoke a lost age of glory now forged into brutal, unrelenting war. These physical resin miniatures arrive with supports already removed, cleaned, and ready to assemble and paint. Scaled at approximately 40mm to the top of the helm, each Warhulk carries the weight of a civilisation that never surrendered.

The squad of five Minoan Warhulks offers exceptional customisation. The parts layout includes six lower-arm variants, four shoulder pad styles, three chest variants, three helmet options, multiple weapon loadouts including short-range cannons and fist weapons, and three leg poses. This level of variety means no two squads need look the same, and veteran collectors can spread parts across multiple units for a cohesive but dynamic warband aesthetic.

Detail density across every component is exceptional. Bull heads emboss the knee guards, Greek meander patterns ring the greaves, and eagle chest plates speak of an ancient martial pride. The crested helms in particular are a centrepiece detail that rewards careful brush work. The decorative round bases, etched with a labyrinthine meander pattern, complete the ancient-yet-futuristic aesthetic that defines the Minoan Warhulks range.

These miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Super glue is recommended for assembly. As multi-part resin kits, they benefit from a brief wash in warm soapy water before priming.

Painting Guide: Minoan Warhulks - Heavy Seige Warriors

The following guide is designed to help you achieve a striking, battle-worn finish that honours the ancient aesthetic of these heavy siege warriors.

1. Prime

  • Use a grey or white spray primer for a neutral base that allows both bright metallics and deep tones to read clearly.
  • Ensure all recesses are reached, especially the meander friezes on the greaves and the crested helm plumes.

2. Armour Base

  • Apply a rich dark bronze or aged gold as the primary armour basecoat to reflect the ancient Minoan civilisation theme.
  • Alternatively, a deep stone grey or white marble effect suits a more spectral, undying warrior aesthetic.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the laurel wreaths, bull heads, and eagle chest details in a contrasting bright gold or polished brass.
  • Use a fine brush to carefully apply a deep brown or sepia wash into all recesses to define the sculpted detail.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat cannons and fists in dark iron or gunmetal, then drybrush lightly with silver to catch raised edges.
  • Add spot colour to power coils or vents with a deep green or electric blue to suggest otherworldly energy.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a stippled dark brown and orange mix to edges and lower legs to simulate ancient rust and battlefield grime.
  • Use a light silver drybrush across upper armour panels to suggest worn, battle-scarred plating.

6. Bases

  • Paint the meander-etched bases in stone grey, wash with a blue or teal shade to suggest ancient submerged ruins, then drybrush with off-white to bring up the labyrinth detail.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
