This guide is designed to help you bring your Sci-fi Myrmidon Captain to life with a bold, classical colour scheme inspired by ancient bronze-age warriors.

1. Prime

• Apply a smooth grey or white primer coat to capture all fine engraved details on the armour surface.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the armour panels with a rich bronze such as Vallejo Brassy Brass or Citadel Retributor Armour.
• Apply a second coat of a slightly lighter gold to raised feather and scale details to add natural contrast.

3. Trim and Details

• Paint the meander trim and carved border elements in a deep oxidised copper tone, then highlight with bright gold.
• Use a deep blue or teal for the helmet crest feathers to contrast against the metallic armour.

4. Weapons

• Paint the polearm shaft in aged bronze with a verdigris wash pooled into the engraved column lines.
