This single model arrives already printed, supports removed, and cleaned, ready for assembly and painting straight from the box.
Standing at approximately 50-60mm in height, this hero-scale figure dominates any battlefield display or gaming table. The sculpt is packed with incredible surface detail, including layered feather-effect armour plates, an oversized circular shield engraved with classical motifs, massive bull horns rising from the shoulder pauldrons, and a long ornate polearm gripped in one gauntleted fist. The base features scattered defeated enemies, adding further narrative drama to an already commanding pose.
Whether you are collecting iconic characters for a grimdark sci-fi wargame, building a display cabinet of elite warriors, or searching for a centrepiece model for a custom army, this Sci-fi captain delivers on every front. The fusion of ancient Minoan and Mycenaean aesthetics with futuristic armour technology creates a visual identity unlike anything else on the tabletop.
Each miniature is cast in high-quality grey resin, capturing fine surface textures and sharp edges throughout. Assembly may be required for smaller components such as the weapon arm or cape. Supplied unpainted. Bases shown are for display purposes only.
Painting Guide: Sci-Fi Warrior Miniature - Minoan Myrmidon CaptainThis guide is designed to help you bring your Sci-fi Myrmidon Captain to life with a bold, classical colour scheme inspired by ancient bronze-age warriors.
1. Prime
- Apply a smooth grey or white primer coat to capture all fine engraved details on the armour surface.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the armour panels with a rich bronze such as Vallejo Brassy Brass or Citadel Retributor Armour.
- Apply a second coat of a slightly lighter gold to raised feather and scale details to add natural contrast.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint the meander trim and carved border elements in a deep oxidised copper tone, then highlight with bright gold.
- Use a deep blue or teal for the helmet crest feathers to contrast against the metallic armour.
4. Weapons
- Paint the polearm shaft in aged bronze with a verdigris wash pooled into the engraved column lines.
- Highlight the blade tip with cold steel or silver to suggest a sharp, deadly edge.
5. Weathering
- Apply a strong tone or agrax earthshade wash across all armour panels to deepen recesses.
- Drybrush lightly with bright gold to restore highlights and suggest battle-worn metal.
6. Bases
- Paint the defeated enemies at the feet in bone and grey tones, then add a dark brown wash and static grass or sand to complete the scene.
