Kavallerie General Deines - 52mm Resin Miniature

The Kavallerie General Deines arrives as a set of two physical resin miniatures, measuring 52mm from top to bottom of the scenic base, cast in clean grey resin with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble and paint straight from the box.

This is a command duo built for the most dramatic moments of a grimdark imperial advance. The General himself stands upright on the back of a heavy military motorcycle, one boot planted on the chassis, blowing a brass bugle as his grey cape catches the wind behind him. He wears a long greatcoat layered with medals, epaulettes, and a peaked cap, the bearing of a man who leads from the front and expects the battlefield to part around him. His rider crouches low at the handlebars in a fitted uniform and goggled helmet, focused entirely on keeping the machine steady through rubble and ruin. Beneath the wheels, the wreckage of a defeated greenskin enemy lies crushed into the base, a grim trophy of the campaign. The sculpt carries real narrative weight, a moving, living piece of imperial theatre in miniature form.

1. Prime

• Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across both figures and the bike chassis. Grey primer suits the green uniform tones well and reduces the number of base coats needed.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the greatcoats and trousers in a mid-green such as Castellan Green or Russian Uniform, leaving the General's trousers in a cool grey-blue like The Fang or Fenrisian Grey.
• Block in the motorcycle body panels in Castellan Green or Uniform Grey to match the infantry scheme.

3. Trim and Details

• Paint medals, buttons, and the bugle in Retributor Armour or Brass Scorpion, then shade with Agrax Earthshade for depth.
• Pick out the goggles lenses in a pale yellow or amber tint and glaze with Hexwraith Flame for a worn glass effect.

4. Weapons

• Basecoat the bugle and any holstered pistols in Leadbelcher, then shade with Nuln Oil and drybrush lightly with Ironbreaker.
• Add a thin highlight of Stormhost Silver to the leading edges of the bugle bell for a polished brass reflection.

5. Weathering

• Apply Agrax Earthshade pooled into panel lines and boot soles. Stipple Typhus Corrosion onto the bike chassis and wheel rims for mud and rust.
• Drybrush the cape edges with a lighter tone of your cape colour, then add fine scratches with a detail brush and Mechanicus Standard Grey.

6. Bases

• The integrated scenic base already features broken rubble and a greenskin casualty. Pick out the rubble in grey stone tones and the greenskin skin in Warboss Green shaded with Biel-Tan Green wash. Finish the ground with a thin coat of Stirland Mud, allowed to dry fully before a light drybrush of Karak Stone.
