Heavy Strikerz Posse - 37mm Resin Miniatures
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Heavy Strikerz Posse arrives as a squad of three physical resin miniatures, each standing approximately 37mm from top to bottom, cast in clean grey resin with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble and paint straight from the box. Supplied unpainted. The full kit contains 9 parts across the three models, giving you a focused and rewarding build with enough variation to keep each warrior feeling distinct on the tabletop.
Each figure in the squad cuts an imposing silhouette: broad-shouldered, heavily armoured brutes clad in riveted plate, bolt-on gear housings, and thick chain links. One carries a notched cleaver and slab shield, another swings a toothed rotary weapon, and the third wields a wicked trident alongside what looks like an improvised mechanical claw. The faces are characterful and brutish, with jutting jaws and scarred features that reward close brushwork. Horned helmet crests and mismatched pauldrons give each member of the posse its own personality while keeping the warband visually cohesive.
Sculpted by DakkaDakka, these models carry the same grimdark energy and dense detailing that runs through the wider range, with every surface packed with bolts, dents, armour ridges, and weapon texture that makes drybrushing and wash techniques especially satisfying to execute.
The Heavy Strikerz are well suited as elite melee fighters, champion bodyguards, or enforcer-class troops in a greenskin warband. Their rectangular slot bases and compact footprints make them straightforward to rank up on most standard movement trays.
Painting Guide: Heavy Strikerz PosseThese heavily armoured brawlers reward a gritty, battle-worn palette. The guide below covers a practical approach that brings out every rivet and scratch without requiring an airbrush.
1. Prime
- Apply a black or dark grey spray primer for maximum contrast in the recesses.
- A light zenithal pass with white or bone from above helps define armour panels before you begin colour work.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the plate armour with a dark iron or gunmetal grey such as Leadbelcher or Iron Warriors.
- For warmer tones, mix in a small amount of brown to give the metal a crude, forged quality.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out helmet horns, chain links, and strap buckles in a mid brass or aged gold tone.
- Recessed panels and rivets benefit from a targeted wash of dark brown to separate the shapes cleanly.
4. Weapons
- Paint blade edges and weapon heads in a bright silver to suggest sharpened or heavily used steel.
- Add a light streak of orange-brown oil paint along blade flats to suggest rust and old bloodstains.
5. Weathering
- Drybrush the entire armour surface with a light silver to pick out raised edges and battle damage.
- Stipple patches of Typhus Corrosion or similar texture paint into dented areas for a corroded look.
6. Bases
- Texture paste in a sandy or ash waste tone suits the warband aesthetic. Finish with a dry edge highlight and a few tufts or small stones for natural variation across the three bases.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
