“Three wheels and a lot of noise is all the warning you get before the ash turns red.”
Grokk Gorecharger is a single, large-scale 32mm resin miniature that arrives ready to assemble and paint, presenting a thunderous centrepiece for any warband built around raw brutality and mechanical carnage. The model depicts two heavily armoured warriors mounted aboard a monstrous three-wheeled war-bike, its front end sculpted as a snarling tusked beast head with glowing eyes, its rear wheel wrapped in chains, skull trophies, and studded spikes that leave no doubt about the crew's reputation on the battlefield.
Supplied unpainted.
Every surface rewards close attention. The driver wears a horned skull helm and layered plate scarred by countless engagements, while the passenger rides with a long-barrelled weapon braced across the chassis. Ammunition casings, exhaust stacks, bone fetishes, and layered armour plating pack the body of the bike from nose to tail, and the oversized rear tyre carries its own collection of grim trophies. A vivid render shows the finished piece painted in deep red and burnished iron, with blue glowing lenses and brass bullet casings adding sharp points of colour against the weathered metal.
The kit includes multiple interchangeable rider torsos, heads, and weapon options, giving hobbyists genuine flexibility to configure the crew to suit their warband's character. Supports have already been removed and the parts have been cleaned, so you can move straight to assembly and undercoating. Sculpted by Atlan Forge, this piece sits comfortably as a command-level vehicle or a standalone display model for anyone who enjoys the grimdark aesthetic of war-ravaged machinery and monstrous crew.
The physical miniature is cast in high-quality resin and ships as a multi-part kit on a large oval base. All parts are included as shown.
Painting Guide: Grokk GorechargerThe painted render leans into heavy weathering, strong contrast between dark iron and bright armour panels, and selective use of glowing spot colour. The steps below replicate that approach closely.
1. Prime
- Prime with a black or dark grey spray for maximum shadow retention in the deep recesses of the engine block and wheel treads.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat all armour panels with a deep red such as Mephiston Red or Khorne Red, applied in two thin coats for solid coverage.
- Layer up with Evil Sunz Scarlet on raised edges and central panel faces, then apply a fine highlight of Wild Rider Red on the sharpest corners.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint all mechanical trim, bolts, and structural framing with Leadbelcher, then wash heavily with Nuln Oil to push definition into the recesses.
- Drybrush lightly with Ironbreaker or Stormhost Silver to pick out the highest ridges and bolt heads.
4. Weapons
- Paint gun barrels and weapon housings in Rhinox Hide, then drybrush with Boltgun Metal for a worn, used appearance.
- Pick out brass details such as bullet casings and exhaust rings with Retributor Armour, then glaze with Agrax Earthshade to tone them down.
5. Weathering
- Apply chipping effects to the red armour panels using a small torn sponge loaded with Rhinox Hide, concentrating on edges and high-traffic areas around the rider positions.
- Add rust streaks below bolts and along the underside of the chassis using a thin mix of Skrag Brown and Lahmian Medium, drawn downward with a fine brush.
6. Bases
- Texture the oval base with a mix of coarse sand and fine grit, paint with Stirland Mud, drybrush with Karak Stone, and finish with a few tufts of dry grass and scattered gravel to evoke a ruined wasteland battlefield.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
