The Gomorrah Idolaters Build Kit delivers a squad of five highly detailed resin miniatures, each approximately 32mm from feet to eyes, arriving as physical pre-printed components with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting. Sculpted by DakkaDakka, this kit is designed for adult hobbyists who demand exceptional detail and maximum customisation in their grimdark sci-fi forces.
This kit contains 140 total parts across 99 unique sculpts, giving you an outstanding range of build options. The squad includes winged warrior bodies with large bat-like membrane wings, robed infantry torsos, a variety of heads with ornate helms and bare options, long coats, and an array of ranged and melee weapons. Weapons options include long-barrelled rifles, pistols, bladed polearms, swords, and decorative shields, letting you tailor each model to your preferred loadout. The Gomorrah Idolaters Build Kit is ideal for players who want a cohesive yet varied elite unit with a dark, sinister aesthetic inspired by shadowy raider factions of the far future.
Five assembled example models are shown, mixing winged and non-winged configurations, robed and armoured bodies, and multiple weapon combinations. The modular nature means no two squads need look alike. Bases are not included. Models scale at 32mm from feet to eyes, fitting neatly alongside most popular 28-32mm sci-fi wargaming systems.
Each physical resin kit is cast in high-resolution resin, cleaned, and packed carefully for safe shipping. The Gomorrah Idolaters Build Kit arrives ready for your hobby desk.
Painting Guide: Gomorrah Idolaters Build Kit - Sci-Fi Wargaming MiniaturesThese warriors suit a dark, gothic palette. The guide below uses common hobby paints and is suitable for intermediate painters, though beginners can follow each step at their own pace.
1. Prime
- Apply a black or dark grey primer spray to all assembled components.
- Ensure full coverage in recesses before moving to base coats.
2. Armour Base
- Base coat armour panels in a deep purple or cold midnight blue.
- Layer with a slightly lighter tone of the same hue to build depth on raised surfaces.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out buckles, clasps, and ornate trim with a dark silver or tarnished gold.
- Highlight cloth robes with a muted bone or pale grey to contrast against dark armour.
4. Weapons
- Paint rifle and pistol bodies in a cold steel with a thin wash of dark blue to shade.
- Edge-highlight blade weapons with bright silver, then glaze the length with a faint green or purple tint for an energised effect.
5. Weathering
- Apply a dark brown or black wash over the entire model to settle into recesses and add grime.
- Dry brush extremities lightly with silver to simulate worn metal edges.
6. Bases
- Use cracked wasteland texture paste or fine sand, painted in ashen grey with a pale dry brush on raised points to evoke a desolate battlefield environment.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
