1. Prime

• Spray or brush-prime with a neutral grey primer across all assembled or sub-assembled parts.

2. Armour Base

• Apply a deep black-brown base coat across all armour plates and pauldrons.
• Drybrush with dark steel or gunmetal to pick out raised edges on the spiked plates and shoulder guards.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the ornate scrollwork and body engravings with a rich dark gold or aged bronze.
• Use a fine liner brush to trace the waist tabard filigree with a pale ivory or off-white for contrast.

4. Skin and Hair

• Base the skin with a deep warm tone such as terracotta or ashen grey for a supernatural effect.
• Shade the skin with a purple-brown wash in the recesses, then highlight with a light warm tone on the cheekbones, nose, and hands.

5. Weathering

• Apply a pin wash of black or dark brown into every armour crevice to deepen shadows.
• Stipple small chips along armour edges using a torn sponge and dark grey to suggest battle damage.

6. Base

• Paint the crystal rock formation with dark grey stone tones, then drybrush with light grey and white to give the shards an icy, jagged appearance.
