Diseased skies churn as the Contaminated Assault Aircraft (230mm x 370mm x 100mm) descends, its bloated form humming with unnatural life. This grotesque aerial predator is no mere machine, it is a fusion of decaying bio-mass and corrupted engineering, built to spread rot and devastation from above. Its looming silhouette, crowned with a skull-like fuselage and ragged wings, casts a shadow that heralds infection and ruin on the battlefield below.

The aircraft’s armour plating appears swollen and uneven, as though it has grown rather than been forged. Bulging surfaces and pitted textures suggest centuries of corrosion, yet it remains horrifyingly resilient. Each panel is fused with organic decay, creating a seamless blend of flesh and metal that resists both damage and reason. Its structure evokes dread, as if it could pulse or shift at any moment.

Twin rotary cannons hang beneath its wings, their clustered barrels promising relentless suppressive fire. These Diseased weapon systems are designed not only for destruction, but for saturation, filling the air with toxic payloads and infectious munitions. Additional mounted armaments and modular components allow for varied loadouts, making it a versatile terror in aerial assaults.

The wings themselves stretch outward in jagged, unnatural spans, resembling tattered membranes rather than engineered surfaces. They carry the aircraft with a disturbing grace, gliding silently before unleashing devastating volleys. Beneath it, mechanical growths and nodules hint at self-repair or mutation, reinforcing the sense that this entity is alive in ways it should not be.

On the battlefield, the Contaminated Assault Aircraft serves as both a shock unit and a harbinger of decay. It dominates airspace, disrupts formations, and spreads fear as effectively as it spreads destruction. Wherever it flies, the Diseased corruption follows, lingering long after the engines fall silent.

Painting Guide: Contaminated Assault Aircraft

Bring out the horrific fusion of decay and machinery with a grim, weathered finish.

1. Prime

  • Black primer for deep shadows, or a bone/grey primer for a more organic base.

2. Armour Base

  • Use muted greens, sickly yellows, and browns for the main body.
  • Highlight with pale green or off-white to create a bloated, organic look.

3. Trim and Details

  • Apply dark metallics like gunmetal or corroded bronze.
  • Use brown and green washes to create a Diseased, grimy finish.

4. Weapons

  • Paint weapons in dark steel with rust effects.
  • Add subtle green or orange glow effects to suggest toxic discharge.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple rust, corrosion, and chipped paint across edges.
  • Add streaks of grime and oily residue beneath panels and joints.

6. Bases

  • Create a contaminated wasteland with cracked earth, sludge, or scattered debris.

This set consists of ready-to-assemble parts. Super glue is best for assembly.
