The Diseased PG Gunners are a squad of bloated, plague-ridden infantry built for grinding attrition warfare in the darkest corners of a dying galaxy. Each of the ten figures in this set arrives as a physical resin miniature, supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble and paint straight out of the box. Standing approximately 29mm from feet to eyes, these soldiers carry the unmistakable marks of long exposure to corruption, with swollen limbs, mutated flesh, and corroded armour plating that tells a story of endless war.

The set includes ten unique sculpts, each posed with grimdark energy. Some advance with heavy weapons cradled low, others brace wide-legged with stubby firearms raised, and the squad leader strides forward open-mouthed in a battle cry, bearing a grotesque organic cannon. Tentacles, blisters, and ragged armour trim reinforce the decayed aesthetic throughout. This variety makes the Diseased PG Gunners ideal as a core infantry unit for any corrupted or plague-themed warband, and the dynamic posing ensures the squad reads well on the tabletop even before a brush is raised.

Sculpted by DakkaDakka, these figures demonstrate confident, character-rich design work. Proportions are heroic and exaggerated, lending them strong visual presence at gaming distance. Whether you are building a dedicated plague army or adding a corrupted fringe element to an existing force, this squad delivers ten distinct personalities in a single purchase.

Each miniature is cast in high-quality grey resin and arrives clean and ready for painting.

Painting Guide: Diseased PG Gunners Squad (x10)

The following guide is designed to help hobbyists achieve a suitably diseased and weathered finish on their Diseased PG Gunners using widely available hobby paints.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across all ten figures to ensure good paint adhesion on the resin surface.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat the armour plates with a muted, dark green such as Castellan Green or Death Guard Green for a plague-worn look.
  • Add a wash of Agrax Earthshade or Athonian Camoshade to settle colour into the recesses and build depth.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out armour trim and buckles with a dark brass or bronze, then wash with Agrax Earthshade for tarnished metal.
  • Paint flesh tones with a pale, sickly base such as Rakarth Flesh, then shade with Reikland Fleshshade and a thin glaze of green to imply disease.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat gun barrels and metal components with Leadbelcher or a similar gunmetal, then wash with Nuln Oil.
  • Drybrush lightly with Ironbreaker to pick out raised edges and give a worn metallic finish.

5. Weathering

  • Use a sponge or stipple brush to apply chipping effects in dark brown or black across the armour edges.
  • Add verdigris effects to bronze areas using a thinned turquoise such as Nihilakh Oxide for a corroded, neglected appearance.

6. Bases

  • Texture the bases with a muddy brown paste or PVA and sand mix, paint in dark earth tones, and add tufts of dead grass or blighted foliage to reinforce the corrupted battlefield setting.
