Chun Lee stands ready for battle in this stunning 1/6 scale resin figurine, capturing her iconic classic appearance with remarkable detail and dynamic energy. This physical collectible arrives fully cast in high-quality resin, with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting. Standing approximately 250mm tall, this piece is a centrepiece-worthy addition to any serious collector's display shelf.
The sculpt showcases the legendary fighter mid-combat, with two interchangeable pose options included. The kicking pose captures explosive martial energy, while the standing guard pose conveys focused, disciplined power. Every element of her iconic look is faithfully reproduced, from the ornate blue qipao dress with gold trim and flowing side panels, to the spiked metal bracelets, white lace-up boots, and signature ox-horn buns adorned with flowing white ribbons. Muscle definition across the legs and arms reinforces her reputation as one of the most formidable fighters in gaming history.
Chun Lee is presented here as part of the Game Line 2 series by sculptor LD Art, a premium figurine line aimed at adult collectors who demand exceptional quality and accuracy. The multi-part construction allows for careful, deliberate assembly, and each component fits together cleanly. This is a single-character figurine supplied unpainted, giving the hobbyist full creative control over the final colour scheme and finish.
Whether displayed as a showpiece or painted to competition standard, this figurine rewards patience and skill. The level of sculpted surface detail responds beautifully to layered painting techniques, washes, and highlights, making it an ideal project for intermediate to advanced miniature painters.
Painting Guide: Chun Lee - Classic - Game Line, 1/6 Scale Pin Up FigurineThis guide is designed to help hobbyists achieve a faithful, vibrant recreation of Chun Lee's classic colour palette. Work in thin layers throughout to preserve sculpted detail.
1. Prime
- Apply a light grey or white spray primer evenly across all assembled or sub-assembled parts to reveal fine surface detail before painting begins.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the qipao dress with a strong royal blue, such as Kantor Blue or Macragge Blue, applied in two thin coats for even coverage.
- Basecoat the tights and exposed skin areas separately, using a warm terracotta for the tights and a mid-tone flesh for skin.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint the gold trim along the dress hem and collar with Retributor Armour or similar bright gold, then shade with a brown ink to define the ornate scrollwork.
- Highlight the blue dress panels by mixing in increasing amounts of white or electric blue toward raised edges, building up three to four highlight stages for a bold, heroic finish.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the spiked bracelets with Leadbelcher or Vallejo Gunmetal, then wash with Nuln Oil to define the spike shapes and bracelet texture.
- Edge highlight the spikes with Stormhost Silver to give a sharp, cold metallic appearance consistent with polished steel.
5. Weathering
- Apply subtle OSL (object source lighting) hints of blue reflected light onto the skin and white boots to tie the figure's palette together and enhance visual cohesion.
- Use a fine detail brush to dot in small scratches or scuffs on the bracelet metal for a battle-worn appearance without overworking the finish.
6. Bases
- The circular display base suits a clean, neutral finish such as gloss black or a dark grey stone effect, keeping the visual focus entirely on the figure above.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
