The guide below walks you through a recommended approach for bringing Castellan the Pure to life on the tabletop, from priming through to a finished, display-quality result.

1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer to seal the resin and give subsequent layers a solid foundation to grip.
• Allow to cure fully before handling.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the armour plates and pauldrons in a deep charcoal or dark iron tone to anchor the overall palette in a suitably grim register.
• Block in the coat and cape with a warm off-white or aged linen to contrast the metal.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out rivets, buckles, and the skull belt plate in a tarnished brass or aged gold for visual interest.
• Paint the bionic eye lens in a bright amber or cold blue to create a compelling focal point on the face.

4. Weapons

• Basecoat the revolver and canister weapon in gunmetal grey, then drybrush lightly with bright silver to lift the edges.
