The following guide walks through a recommended painting sequence for this model, from primer to finished base, using widely available hobby paints.

1. Prime

• Apply a black spray primer as an all-over basecoat to deepen recesses and give metallic layers strong contrast from the start.
• Follow with a zenithal dusting of grey primer from above to pre-shade the raised armour surfaces.

2. Armour Base

• Block in the main armour plates with a dark iron or gunmetal, working from the largest panels outward.
• Apply a second, lighter metallic highlight to raised edges using a fine detail brush for definition.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out skull ornaments and bone decorations in off-white, then wash with a sepia or brown tone to settle them into the armour.
• Highlight bone tips and knuckle ridges with pure white to draw the eye.

4. Weapons
