1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer to all surfaces. Grey primer helps you see fine detail clearly before committing to colour.
• Let the primer cure for at least one hour before painting.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the heavy coats and armour plates with a muted olive drab or cold khaki tone to suggest worn military fabric.
• Apply a second coat if coverage is uneven, keeping strokes smooth and thin to preserve surface detail.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out buckles, pouches, and straps in a warm leather brown, then highlight edges with a lighter tan.
• Paint respirator masks and goggle lenses in dark grey, then dot the lenses with a tiny spot of pale blue or green to suggest a faint glow.

4. Weapons

• Basecoat rifles, cannon barrels, and bayonets with a dark metallic grey. Dry-brush lightly with bright silver along raised edges to simulate worn metal.

5. Weathering
