Every gang member worth their scrap knows that brute force and heavy armour are the only currency that matters in the underhive. The Alcat Heavy Mules Squad brings six imposing, battle-hardened fighters to your warband, each sculpted by DakkaDakka with brutal detail and grim character.

This squad of six resin miniatures stands 40mm from feet to eyes, making them an imposing presence on the tabletop. Each gang member carries the marks of a life lived hard: reinforced riot shields bristling with bolted plate, double-barrelled shotguns, cruel blades, and improvised power mauls. Gas masks, goggles, and worn tactical coats speak of fighters who have survived every toxic tunnel and collapsed corridor the underhive can throw at them.

The squad includes a hulking leader (00) wielding dual blades and a stomping stance that dominates the base, alongside five distinct troopers numbered 01 through 05. Each model features unique poses, weapon loadouts, and head gear, ensuring your gang member crew stands out on the battlefield. Heavy ballistic shields and crude firearms reinforce a look of organised, ruthless street muscle ready for close-quarters carnage.

Whether you are building a full warband or reinforcing an existing crew, the Alcat Heavy Mules Squad delivers the visual punch your gang member roster demands.

Painting Guide: Alcat Heavy Mules Squad

Bring these grimdark fighters to life with a gritty, underhive palette that emphasises rust, grime, and worn industrial tones.

1. Prime

  • Spray with a grey or black primer for maximum shadow depth across the heavily detailed armour and equipment

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat armour plates with a deep olive drab or charcoal grey to reflect beaten gang member street colours
  • Apply a flat brown to cloth coats and worn fatigues for a ragged, underhive look

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out rivets, buckles, and shield edging with a dull bronze or aged silver
  • Paint numbered chest plates in a faded yellow or hazard orange for visual identity within the squad

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat firearms and blades with gunmetal grey, then drybrush with bright silver to highlight edges
  • Add patches of rust brown and orange streaking to barrels and blade spines

5. Weathering

  • Apply a dark brown or black oil wash across all surfaces to deepen recesses and emphasise the grimdark aesthetic
  • Stipple rust tones onto shield surfaces and armour edges for a lived-in, battered appearance fitting every gang member of the underhive

6. Bases

  • Texture with dark grey sand or rubble paste, then drybrush with light stone and add touches of rust pigment and soot black to sell the industrial underhive setting
