Forgotten Champions rise from the roots of a dying world, and Aeloria the Rooted stands among the most formidable of their number. This 32mm resin miniature, sculpted by Haito, captures a Human Shaman mid-ritual, her long braided hair whipping in an unseen wind as gnarled branch-like extensions erupt from her form. Arms outstretched, fingers splayed like claws reaching into the spirit plane, she radiates a primal, untamed power that no battlefield can contain.
Aeloria wears a midriff-baring latticed top adorned with a crescent moon pendant, a heavy chain belt hung with links and symbols, and a layered skirt split to reveal bare legs rooted to cracked stone. Every detail speaks of ancient rite and sacrifice, from the ritualistic markings on her arms to the twisted antler-like growths that crown her head. She is both healer and harbinger, a conduit between the living world and whatever force lurks beneath it.
This single-figure kit from the Forgotten Champions range is perfect for use as a shaman, druid, or arcane support character in your favourite tabletop skirmish or roleplaying game. The sculpt ships unpainted and unassembled, cast in high-quality resin to preserve every fine detail across the front and rear profiles shown.

Painting Guide: Aeloria the Rooted - Human ShamanAeloria rewards a painter who leans into earthy, naturalistic tones with flashes of eerie supernatural light. Her place among Forgotten Champions is best expressed through contrast between warm skin tones and cold, otherworldly energy.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime using black from below and bone white from above to establish natural light sourcing across the sculpt.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the latticed top and belt in a muted bronze or aged leather brown.
- Wash with a dark sepia to pick out the fine quilted texture and chain links.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint the crescent pendant and chain rings in tarnished gold, finishing with a green oxidation wash in recesses.
- Pick out the arm markings in a thin, ghostly pale blue to suggest ritual ink or spirit scarring.
4. Weapons
- Drybrush the gnarled antler-like branch growths in progressively lighter browns up to bleached bone at the tips.
- Add a faint OSL glow of sickly green or pale violet at the root joints where growth meets flesh.
5. Weathering
- Stipple the skirt hem with light mud tones and a thin wash of brown to suggest long travel across ruined terrain.
- Apply a subtle fade of cold grey to the flowing hair tips to hint at arcane drain on her vitality.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the cracked stone base in grey and off-white, then add small tufts of dead grass and a thin gloss coat to recessed cracks to imply a seeping, root-fed moisture beneath the surface, tying Aeloria firmly to the Forgotten Champions aesthetic of decay and resilience.
