Aegyptus Assault Nehebkau brings the ancient terror of a dying star-empire to your tabletop. These physical resin miniatures arrive supports already removed, cleaned, and ready to assemble and paint. Sculpted at 32mm scale, each warrior stands as a monument to forgotten gods and iron-clad devotion, clad in heavy powered armour adorned with scarab iconography, ankh sigils, and layered ceremonial plate.
This squad of five assault warriors is built for close-quarters devastation. Each figure carries a distinct loadout drawn from the ancient tradition of their order: crescent war-axes, ornate round shields engraved with hieroglyphic inscriptions, and a staff of arcane authority for the unit leader. The armour design fuses archaic ritual symbolism with brutal sci-fi engineering, giving every pose a sense of unstoppable momentum. The Aegyptus Assault Nehebkau unit is an ideal centrepiece for any grimdark force with a desert-world or ancient civilisation theme.
Each miniature features exceptional surface detail across all armour panels, shoulder guards, and weapons. The shield faces carry intricate circular relief carvings and stylised bird-deity engravings. Helmet designs reference falcon and skull motifs, reinforcing the death-cult aesthetic throughout the squad. At 32mm scale, these figures integrate seamlessly with most popular sci-fi skirmish and rank-and-flank wargaming systems.
Squad contents: 5 physical resin miniatures. Bases not included. Miniature assembly may be required. Supplied unpainted.
Painting Guide: Aegyptus Assault Nehebkau - Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures, 32mm ScaleThe following guide is designed to help you bring the Aegyptus Assault Nehebkau squad to life with a worn, desert-campaign finish that honours their ancient origins.
1. Prime
- Apply a thin, even coat of grey or bone-white spray primer to capture all surface detail cleanly.
- Allow full drying time before proceeding.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat armour panels in a deep stone grey or aged ivory for a bleached desert aesthetic.
- For a warmer scheme, use a muted ochre or dusty bone tone across the main armour surfaces.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint hieroglyphic engravings and scarab reliefs in tarnished gold or antique bronze using a fine detail brush.
- Pick out ankh and falcon motifs with a brighter gold highlight to make them stand forward visually.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat axe blades in dark iron or gunmetal, then edge highlight with a lighter silver to suggest sharpened steel.
- Paint the staff orb with layered jewel tones, deep amber or arcane teal, and add a central spot highlight for a glowing energy effect.
5. Weathering
- Apply a sepia or brown wash across all armour recesses to simulate centuries of dust and ritual wear.
- Stipple a thin rust-brown along armour edges and weapon hafts to suggest age and hard use in desert campaigns.
6. Bases
- Texture paste in sandy stone tones pairs perfectly with the squad's aesthetic. Add cracked earth effects and scatter a few small stone fragments for a ruined desert world finish.
