This 75mm fantasy pinup figurine brings Thyrania to life as a commanding warrior sculpted by Print Fantasy, cast in high-quality resin and delivered to you ready to assemble and paint. Standing at an imposing 75mm scale, she is depicted mid-combat, her flowing hair caught in a fierce wind as she wields a rune-etched double-headed axe with both hands. Every surface of this figure rewards close inspection, from the chainmail bodice and fur-trimmed boots to the intricate runic carvings on her blade.
Thyrania arrives as a physical resin miniature with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned. The sculpt draws inspiration from dark fantasy warrior archetypes, blending elegant form with brutal battlefield intent. Her base features shattered stone, scattered debris and a weathered skull, all adding narrative weight to the composition. Whether displayed as a collector's centrepiece or fielded in a fantasy skirmish campaign, this 75mm fantasy pinup figurine makes a striking addition to any miniature collection.
The kit is presented in front and rear views to capture the full detail of the sculpt, confirming the high level of artistry Print Fantasy delivers across the range. Assembly is straightforward, and the generous scale of the figure gives painters plenty of room to explore freehand work, blending techniques and creative basing choices. The runic text on the axe blade offers a particularly rewarding focus for those who enjoy fine detail work.
Supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and basing materials are not included. Some minor assembly may be required depending on how parts are packaged for shipping.
Painting Guide: 75mm fantasy pinup figurine - ThyraniaThyrania rewards a patient approach. Her large scale means every stage of blending and layering will show clearly, so take your time with each section and let each coat dry fully before moving on.
1. Prime
- Apply a light grey or bone primer spray to preserve the fine surface detail across the chainmail, furs and runic blade.
- Check for any air bubbles or missed areas before proceeding, as 75mm resin can trap primer in recesses.
2. Armour Base
- Block in the chainmail bodice with a mid-steel metallic such as Leadbelcher or Scale75 Metal n Alchemy Steel.
- Paint the leather straps and belt in a warm dark brown, then work up to a mid-tan highlight on raised edges.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out shoulder armour and buckle details with a brass or antique gold tone for contrast against the steel.
- Paint the fur trim on boots and cuffs in layers from dark brown through to a pale cream on the tips to suggest depth.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the axe handle in a mid-brown wood tone, then wash with a dark brown ink to deepen the wrapped grip.
- Paint the runic carvings on the blade with a glowing teal or pale gold, applying a thin glaze around each rune to suggest a faint magical energy.
5. Weathering
- Add edge chips to the axe blade with a small piece of blister foam and a dark steel colour, then lighten the very edge of each chip with silver.
- Streak thin brown and rust washes down the lower legs and boot soles to suggest mud and hard travel.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the broken stone rubble with mid-grey then light bone, and pick out the skull with ivory highlighted to off-white on the crown and brow.
