Waifumon brings you Mia, a bold fantasy pin-up miniature sculpted with striking detail and attitude to spare. She arrives as a physical resin miniature with supports already removed, cleaned, and ready to assemble and paint. Seated in a tufted leather armchair with one fist raised and a fierce gaze locked forward, Mia radiates confidence and menace in equal measure. Her catlike ears, golden bracers, tan suede-style bodysuit, and flowing blonde hair make her an eye-catching centrepiece for any display shelf or gaming collection.
This Waifumon figure stands approximately 160mm in scale (about 193mm tall) and is cast in high-quality grey resin. Fine surface detail is present across her harness straps, zippered boots, layered hair, and sculpted facial features. The piece arrives in multiple parts where necessary and is ready for assembly with standard hobby super glue before painting begins.
Designed and sculpted by Pin Ups, Mia draws on a fantasy theme with a pin-up twist. Whether you are a painter who loves showcasing expressive characters or a collector building a themed display, she fits naturally into a fantasy or dark-fantasy setting. Every Waifumon release from this sculptor prioritises expressive posing and bold character design over generic tropes.
This is a single-model kit intended for adult hobbyists who enjoy high-quality resin miniatures with personality and visual impact.
Painting Guide: Mia - WaifumonThe following guide covers all key areas of the model to help you achieve a clean and striking result, whether you are a beginner or an experienced painter.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or white primer in thin, even coats to preserve surface detail across the hair, face, and harness straps.
- Allow to cure fully before painting.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the bodysuit in a warm tan or desert sand colour such as Vallejo Tan Earth or Citadel Zandri Dust.
- Apply a brown wash to recesses in the bodysuit and boots to separate panels and add depth.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint the golden bracers and hair ornaments with Retributor Armour or a similar bright gold basecoat, then wash with Reikland Fleshshade and edge highlight with Liberator Gold.
- Highlight the harness straps in leather brown, then apply a careful wash of Agrax Earthshade for a worn, well-used look.
4. Weapons
- The raised fist gauntlet can be painted in the same tan tone as the bodysuit or pushed into a contrasting dark leather to draw the eye forward.
- Add subtle edge highlights to the knuckle area for a worn, battle-ready appearance.
5. Weathering
- Stipple very light chipping on the boots and lower bodysuit using a torn foam piece and a dark brown mix.
- Use a thin ochre glaze over the golden elements to tie the warm tones together across the model.
6. Bases
- Consider a polished stone or indoor setting base to complement the armchair theme of the sculpt, using slate grey tones and a gloss varnish to suggest marble or tile.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
