Waifumon Likky is a bold and expressive 160mm scale resin miniature, arriving as a fully physical collectible figure ready for assembly and painting. This striking piece draws inspiration from creature-trainer fantasy aesthetics, reimagined through a grimdark pin-up lens. Every curve, strap, and chain detail has been rendered with precision, making Likky a standout centrepiece for any display shelf or collector's cabinet.
This miniature ships as a pre-printed physical resin figure. Supports have already been removed and the surface has been cleaned and sanded where needed. The model arrives ready to assemble if multi-part, and ready to prime and paint straight away. No printing equipment or technical knowledge is required on your end.
Standing at an imposing 160mm, the Waifumon Likky figure captures a seated, chained pose with dramatic hair volume and expressive facial detail. The sculpt by SiryllArt, features layered harness straps with metallic ring hardware, thick latex-style gloves, ankle cuffs with chain links, and a bold fantasy silhouette that rewards careful brush work. The base is a flat circular display platform styled to suit a wooden-floor aesthetic.
This piece is designed for experienced hobbyist painters who appreciate high-detail resin figures. The large surface areas lend themselves well to blending and freehand work, while the intricate hardware details reward fine-line brush techniques. A single figure is included per listing.
Painting Guide: Waifumon Likky - 160mm Scale Miniature
The following guide is intended to help you achieve a polished result on your Waifumon Likky figure. Work in thin layers throughout for the best finish.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime using grey as a base coat and white from above to establish natural shading before paint is applied.
- Allow to cure fully before moving on. A resin-compatible spray primer such as Vallejo Surface Primer or equivalent is recommended.
2. Armour Base
- Block in the cream harness straps using Vallejo Ivory or Scale 75 Antique White, applied in two thin coats.
- Shade the strap recesses with a thinned Seraphim Sepia wash to bring out depth between the buckle hardware.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out the metal rings and buckles using Leadbelcher or Scale 75 Speed Metal, then glaze with a thinned black wash to add shadow to the recesses.
- Highlight metal edges with Stormhost Silver for a polished steel appearance.
4. Weapons
- The chain links respond well to a basecoat of Ironbreaker followed by a selective wash of Nuln Oil in the link gaps only.
- Dry brush lightly with Runefang Steel to simulate worn, frequently used chain.
5. Weathering
- Apply a subtle warm glaze of Guilliman Flesh over skin areas to unify the tone and add a lifelike warmth.
- Use a fine brush and thinned Carroburg Crimson to define shadows in deep skin creases and around the collar area.
6. Bases
- The integrated display base suits a warm wood-plank finish. Basecoat with Mournfang Brown, layer with Doombull Brown, and streak with thinned Skeleton Bone to represent wood grain. Seal with a satin varnish for a polished floor look.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
