Gothic Sci-fi armoured warriors arrive in this squad of five physical resin miniatures, each sculpted in an imposing Primaris-scale style with heavily plated power armour, skull iconography, spiked pauldrons, and tattered tabards that evoke a dark and brutal battlefield aesthetic. These are the Vampire Knights Hunters, a relentless band of gothic warriors ready to stalk the darkest corners of any grimdark wargame table.
Each miniature in this five-model squad has been individually 3D printed in high-detail resin, with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned and sanded where needed. They arrive ready to assemble and paint, requiring no additional preparation beyond optional gap-filling. The models stand at approximately 32-35mm scale, consistent with modern heroic-scale infantry used across popular tabletop wargames.
The squad includes a variety of weapon loadouts across the five warriors. Visible armaments include a large serrated chainsword, bolt pistols, a studded power fist, long stabbing blades, and a heavy ranged weapon. The armour plating features battle damage, rivets, skull motifs on belt buckles, and gothic detailing throughout. The Gothic Sci aesthetic of these miniatures makes them ideal as chaos-aligned, renegade, or vampire hunter warriors in any sci-fi skirmish or rank-and-flank system.
These models are compatible with standard 32mm round bases (not included). They are supplied unpainted and unprimed. Assembly may require plastic glue or superglue depending on whether components are separated.
Painting Guide: Gothic Sci-Fi Warriors - Vampire Knights HuntersThis guide is designed to help you achieve a striking, battle-worn finish that honours the Gothic Sci aesthetic of these dark armoured hunters.
1. Prime
- Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer to seal the resin surface and give your paints something to grip.
2. Armour Base
- Base coat the power armour plates with a deep charcoal or dark iron grey, such as Mechanicus Standard Grey or Abaddon Black.
- For a more varied look, try a dark burgundy or midnight blue on select panels to create contrast across the squad.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out the rivets, belt buckles, and skull iconography with a tarnished bronze or dull gold, such as Balthasar Gold followed by a Agrax Earthshade wash.
- Edge highlight the armour panels with a lighter grey or steel tone to define the plating and give the armour depth.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat blades and gun barrels with Leadbelcher, then wash with Nuln Oil to create a dark metallic tone.
- For the chainsword teeth, use a lighter silver highlight and add a spot of dried blood texture paint for a menacing effect.
5. Weathering
- Use a sponge or stippling brush with a dark brown to add chipping and battle damage across the armour panels.
- Streak downward from vents and rivets with a thin line of Agrax Earthshade or Typhus Corrosion to simulate grime and rust.
6. Bases
- Texture paste in a volcanic or ashen style works well to match the hellish battlefield environment these warriors inhabit. Finish with a dry brush of pale grey or bone over the textured surface.
