This Troll miniature is a towering, muscle-bound brute sculpted for 32mm scale fantasy RPG and tabletop wargaming. Standing in a menacing crouch with one fist raised high clutching a crude blade, this figure captures the raw, savage energy of a creature that lives for destruction. Bone fragments litter the base around its clawed feet, hinting at the carnage left in its wake.
Each miniature arrives as a physical resin cast, with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned and sanded where needed. The model ships ready to assemble if multi-part and ready to prime and paint straight out of the box. Sculpted with exceptional surface detail, from the thick plated hide to the snarling skull-like face, this piece rewards careful brushwork and washes at every stage.
The Troll stands as a compelling centrepiece or elite unit on the battlefield. Its muscular frame, spiked shoulder guard, tattered cloth wrap, and stone-cobble base make it an ideal focal point for any fantasy warband or dungeon encounter. At 32mm scale, the figure sits comfortably alongside most standard fantasy and grimdark tabletop ranges.
Squad size is one single model. No digital files or printing is involved. What you receive is a finished physical resin miniature, cleaned and ready for your hobby desk.
Painting Guide: Troll - Fantasy RPG Miniatures, 32mm ScaleThis guide is designed to help hobbyists bring out the full character of the Troll, from its warty skin to its battered weapon.
1. Prime
- Use a grey or bone-tone spray primer to preserve fine surface detail across the musculature and armour plates.
- Ensure full coverage in recessed areas such as the tattered cloth and the bone scatter on the base.
2. Armour Base
- Apply a muted stone grey or greenish-brown to the skin to create a naturalistic, earthy tone.
- Block in the spiked shoulder guard with a dark iron or charcoal grey to separate it visually from the flesh.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out the skull face motif with off-white or aged bone tones, adding thin washes of brown to create depth in the eye sockets.
- Highlight raised skin folds with a lighter flesh or olive mix, dry-brushed carefully across the knuckles and brow.
4. Weapons
- Base the blade with a dark metal, then dry-brush with a bright silver to bring out scratches and edge wear.
- Add rust streaks using a thinned orange-brown wash applied sparingly along the blade edge.
5. Weathering
- Apply a dark brown or black wash across the entire model to settle into recesses and unify the palette.
- Stipple dried mud tones onto the feet and lower legs using a worn brush to suggest a creature that stalks through ruined terrain.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the stone cobble base with light grey over a dark basecoat, then paint the bone scatter with cream and brown washes for a grimdark dungeon feel.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
