This Trench Crusade style physical resin miniature depicts a battle-hardened Medic Nun, striding forward with a shovel raised in one hand and a blade clutched in the other. She wears a hooded habit reinforced with armoured plating, a gas mask visor, and a medical satchel marked with a cross, evoking the bleak, faith-soaked trenches of a world where holy war never ended. Mounted on a 25mm base, she arrives already printed and cleaned, supports removed, and ready to assemble and paint.
Produced by Crab Miniatures, this single-figure release captures the grimdark atmosphere of a Trench Crusade style setting with striking detail across every surface. The flowing robes, articulated gauntlets, and worn strapping give painters a wide range of textures to work with. Whether you field her as a battlefield medic, a support character, or a standalone centrepiece, she brings real presence to any warband.
Scale: 25mm base. Supplied as a physical resin miniature. Assembly and painting required. Paints, glue, and tools sold separately.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
Painting Guide: Trench Crusade style - Medic NunThis guide is designed to help you bring this Trench Crusade style miniature to life with a palette that reflects a world of perpetual, muddy holy war. Aim for desaturated tones, heavy weathering, and a few stark accent colours to suggest faded devotion.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or off-white spray primer evenly across all surfaces
- Ensure all recesses are covered before proceeding
2. Armour Base
- Base coat armoured plates with a cold, pale grey such as Administratum Grey or equivalent
- Layer up to a near-white highlight on raised edges to contrast with the dark robes
3. Trim and Details
- Paint cross symbols and medical bag details in a muted ivory or bone tone
- Use a thinned brown wash over straps and buckles to age the leather
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the shovel blade and sword in dark metal, then drybrush with silver to pick out worn edges
- Add rust streaks using a stippled mix of orange-brown and Agrax Earthshade
5. Weathering
- Apply mud texture paste or thinned brown paint to the lower robes and boots
- Chip the armour using a fine sponge dipped in dark brown and silver alternately
6. Bases
- Texture with fine sand or pre-made basing paste, paint in dark brown, drybrush with tan, and add a static grass tuft or two for contrast
