This Trench Crusade Style physical resin miniature brings one of the most grotesque and imposing abominations to your tabletop. The Tet'o Abomination is a bloated, multi-limbed horror adorned with chains, cannon barrels, bladed weapons, and festering growths across its swollen frame. Standing at 101mm from top to bottom, this is a true centrepiece model that will command attention in any collection or skirmish force.
Sculpted by DakkaDakka, the model captures the essence of corrupted flesh fused with brutal ironwork. Multiple cannon arms, a gaping maw filled with writhing tendrils, claws, axes, spears, and scattered trophies cover every surface. The detail density is exceptional, rewarding careful painters with countless focal points and textural contrasts between organic rot and cold metal.
This Trench Crusade Style miniature arrives as a pre-printed physical resin kit with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned. The kit comes in 6 separate parts for straightforward assembly with standard plastic or super glue. Parts fit together cleanly, and the breakdown has been designed to make painting sub-assemblies easier before final joining.
The model is mounted on a round display base included in the kit. Whether used as a solo display piece, a faction commander, or a summoned terror on the battlefield, the Tet'o Abomination fills its role with brutal authority. Faction inspiration draws from corrupted infernal forces in a grimdark trench warfare setting.
Painting Guide: Trench Crusade Style - Tet'o AbominationThe painted example uses a palette of dirty flesh tones, corroded bronze, and dark iron to sell the horror of living corruption merged with battlefield ironmongery. Follow these steps to recreate a similar result.
1. Prime
- Prime the assembled or sub-assembled model with a grey or black spray primer for maximum detail capture on the flesh and metal surfaces.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat all flesh areas with a mid-grey or pale bone tone, working up from the deep recesses outward.
- Apply a dark brown or flesh wash across all organic surfaces to settle into the folds, growths, and pustules.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out chains, rivets, and metallic fittings with a dark iron basecoat followed by a dry brush of bright steel.
- Paint hanging tags and bolted plates with a tarnished gold or worn bronze, then apply a green-brown wash for oxidation.
4. Weapons
- Paint cannon barrels and bladed weapons with a dark steel base, leaving recesses dark to suggest age and neglect.
- Add edge highlights to axe blades and spear tips with a bright silver to imply honed edges on otherwise rusted tools.
5. Weathering
- Stipple rust streaks across metal surfaces using an orange-brown, concentrating on bolt heads, lower edges, and cannon mouths.
- Glaze the interior of the maw and any exposed viscera with deep red and dark orange to suggest raw, wet tissue.
6. Bases
- Texture the base with a mix of coarse pumice paste and fine sand, then paint it in muddy browns and greys with a dry brush of pale stone to suggest a blasted, waterlogged battlefield.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
