The following guide is designed to help you bring your Templar Warhawk Squad to life with a classic crusader-inspired colour scheme. It suits painters of all experience levels, from newcomers to seasoned veterans.

1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or white spray primer to all models. Grey works well as a neutral midtone base for both light and dark armour schemes.
• Ensure recesses and undercuts are fully covered by holding the can at varying angles.

2. Armour Base

• For a classic Templar scheme, basecoat the armour panels in a deep black or cold off-white using a brush or airbrush.
• Apply a second thin coat to build coverage without obscuring detail. Keep the paint thin and even.

3. Trim and Details

• Paint the helmet crests, iconography, and border trims in a rich gold or aged brass tone to contrast against the dark armour.
