Space Dwarf Guardians are a squad of five stocky, heavily armed warriors clad in layered combat fatigues and bulky tactical armour, ready to hold the line in any grimdark sci-fi warzone. Each figure stands at approximately 32mm scale and arrives as a physical resin miniature with supports already removed, cleaned, and ready to assemble and paint. The size comparison image shows them standing slightly shorter than a standard power-armoured trooper, giving them a satisfying chunky presence on the tabletop.

The squad features five unique sculpts across two variant sets, each posed in distinct combat stances. Weapons include compact automatic rifles, rotary cannons, and heavy-duty ballistic shields. Large rectangular backpacks bristling with antennae and equipment panels suggest these warriors carry everything they need for extended deep-space operations. Faces range from grim and grizzled to aggressively determined, with moustaches, helmets, and visored headgear adding character to every trooper.

These Space Dwarf Guardians are ideal as a core infantry squad, a veterans unit, or a specialist fire-team in your sci-fi skirmish or mass-battle wargame. The resin casting captures fine surface detail including pouches, straps, rivets, and armour panelling that reward careful brushwork. Supplied on oval bases.

Each set contains five miniatures. Supplied unpainted and unassembled where parts are separate. Superglue recommended.

Painting Guide: Space Dwarf Guardians - Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures, 32mm

The following guide is designed to help you get a strong tabletop result on your Space Dwarf Guardians using widely available hobby paints.

1. Prime

  • Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer across all surfaces, paying attention to deep recesses around the backpacks and equipment pouches.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat the heavy armour plates with a dark olive green, deep navy, or stone grey depending on your preferred faction colour scheme.
  • Apply the base colour to fatigues and clothing in a contrasting muted tone such as khaki or worn brown.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out helmet rims, shoulder guards, and backpack panels with a lighter drybrush of silver or aged bronze.
  • Paint goggle lenses and visor strips with a bright accent colour such as orange or electric blue for visual pop.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat rifle bodies and cannon barrels in a dark gunmetal grey.
  • Drybrush weapon edges lightly with bright silver to suggest wear along high-contact areas.

5. Weathering

  • Apply a diluted brown or sepia wash across the entire miniature and allow it to settle in all recesses.
  • Stipple chipping effects onto armour panels using a torn piece of blister foam and a dark grey paint.

6. Bases

  • Texture the oval bases with fine sand or a ready-made basing paste, then paint in a rocky ash grey or dust brown to suit a desolate battlefield setting.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
