The Seraphiel Saint Ordine Vendetta miniature arrives as a stunning physical resin centrepiece, depicting a radiant warrior-saint mounted on a heavily armoured warhorse rearing mid-charge across a skull-strewn battlefield base. Standing approximately 139 mm from top to bottom, this imposing figure commands instant attention on any display shelf or gaming table. The rider raises a blazing flame sword aloft, her golden winged halo catching the light, while a crimson cape billows dramatically behind her. The warhorse is clad in ornate spiked plate barding, its ethereal mane rendered in ghostly grey, hooves crushing enemy remains beneath them.
Sculpted by DakkaDakka with exceptional attention to detail, this piece is inspired by the aesthetic of fanatical holy orders and grimdark crusading brotherhoods. Every rivet, feather and skull is crisply rendered. The base features tiered stonework surrounded by enemy pikes, scattered skulls and a fallen banner, giving the model a strong narrative quality straight out of the box. The Seraphiel Saint Ordine Vendetta miniature ships already printed in high-quality resin, with supports removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly of any separate components and immediate painting.
This is a multi-part physical resin kit. Parts may require gentle fitting or a small amount of hobby glue. No printing or digital files are involved. The model measures 139 mm from the tip of the flame blade to the base, making it an ideal command piece or collector display model. The Seraphiel Saint Ordine Vendetta miniature is sized to sit comfortably alongside 28 mm to 35 mm scale wargaming collections while still dominating the battlefield visually.
Whether you are building a dedicated holy order warband or simply want a breathtaking display piece for your cabinet, this sculpt delivers cinematic drama, heroic posing and intricate surface detail in every angle. Front, side and rear views all reward close inspection, with layered fabric folds, engraved armour panels and dynamic flame effects that beg to be painted with care.
Painting Guide: Seraphiel Saint Ordine Vendetta miniature – Mounted Battle Sister HeroThis guide follows the colour scheme shown in the product images, capturing the gold armour, deep crimson fabrics, flame weapon and dark horse barding. It is aimed at intermediate painters comfortable with layering and washes.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime using black from below and white or grey from above to establish natural shading before any colour is applied.
- Allow the primer to cure fully in a dust-free space for at least two hours before proceeding.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat all armour panels with a mid-brown gold such as Retributor Armour or equivalent, working in thin coats to preserve detail.
- Wash the armour with a dark brown or sepia tone, allowing it to settle into recesses, then layer back up with the base gold and edge highlight with a bright pale gold.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint all raised borders and ornate trim with a brighter gold or polished brass to separate them from the main armour panels.
- Pick out any red gemstone or eye detail on the horse barding with a deep red basecoat, a gloss medium in the centre and a tiny white reflection dot for a glass effect.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the sword blade with a warm orange at the base, transitioning through bright yellow toward white at the tip, blending in thin glazes to create a convincing flame gradient.
- Add fine red and amber line highlights along the flame edges and finish the grip with a dark metal drybrush over black.
5. Weathering
- Stipple a small amount of dark brown and black at the hooves and lower barding to suggest mud and battle grime without obscuring the crisp sculpt detail above.
- Apply a selective pin wash of dark oil paint around rivets and panel joins on the armour for depth.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the stone tiers with successive lighter greys from dark charcoal up to near-white on the highest edges, then paint skulls with bone tones washed in sepia.
- Paint the gold spikes with the same armour gold used on the rider, and finish any enemy banner remnants in muted ochre or grey to contrast with the rider's vivid crimson.
