The Machine Cult Liquidation Team Build arrives as a squad of five heavily augmented enforcers, cast in high-quality grey resin and shipped to you with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready to assemble and paint. Each figure stands 31mm from feet to eyes, placing them firmly in the grimdark scale beloved by serious wargamers and collectors alike. The kit contains 62 parts in total, giving you a remarkable degree of customisation across the whole squad.
Five distinct body torsos and leg assemblies form the core of the Machine Cult Liquidation Team Build, each sculpted with layered armour plating, skull-embossed belt buckles, and flowing tabard cloth that speaks to a brotherhood bound by cold doctrine and machine ritual. Thirty-six hands and weapon options are included, covering mechanical claw arms, bladed servo-limbs, bulky compact rifles, and rotary-barrelled heavy weapons. Five unique helmets round out the variety, ranging from fully enclosed sensor-eye faceplates to exposed respirator masks with unsettling human features visible beneath cracked visors.
This Machine Cult Liquidation Team Build is designed for adult hobbyists who want a versatile, modular squad that fits into any grimdark sci-fi warband. The generous parts count means you can equip each operative differently, creating a unit that looks purposeful rather than uniform. Backpack-mounted power units and shoulder-mounted cannon arms add further visual weight to the heavier specialists in the group.
All five miniatures are physical resin castings produced by DakkaDakka and despatched in secure, padded packaging. Assembly requires plastic-compatible or super glue and clippers for minor clean-up on connection points. The 62 parts are clearly formed with crisp detail throughout, from riveted knee guards to the textured grip panels on the firearms.
Painting Guide: Machine Cult Liquidation Team Build Kit - 5 MinisThe palette below is designed to give the squad a cold, industrial look that reads well on the tabletop while rewarding close-up inspection. Work methodically across all five figures before moving to the next stage to keep the colour scheme consistent.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across all assembled parts, holding the can 25-30cm away to avoid obscuring fine detail on the helmet sensors and weapon grips.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat all armour panels with a mid-tone grey such as Mechanicus Standard Grey or equivalent.
- Apply a second coat of a slightly lighter grey, such as Dawnstone, to raised armour facets to begin building natural contrast before shading.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out belt buckles, rivets, and mechanical joint rings with a muted gold or bronze to suggest worn ceremonial hardware.
- Paint tabard cloth and robes in off-white or pale bone, then wash with a diluted brown ink to push the folds into shadow naturally.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat all firearms and blade arms in a deep black-grey, then drybrush lightly with Ironbreaker or similar metallic to suggest machined steel surfaces.
- Pick out cabling and tubing in a deep red or dark orange to add a spot of heat and energy contrast against the cold grey armour.
5. Weathering
- Apply a thinned dark brown wash into all recesses across armour and weapons, then tidy any tide marks with the base colour once dry.
- Use a fine brush to stipple chipping fluid or sponge a dark grey onto armour edges for a well-used, campaign-worn effect.
6. Bases
- Texture bases with fine grit or ready-mixed texture paste in a dark ash tone, drybrush with a pale grey, and add small pieces of slate or debris scatter for a desolate industrial feel that suits the squad's aesthetic.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
