Sci-fi horror meets machine devotion in this squad of five Aerobellum Pursuers, physical resin miniatures cast and cleaned ready for your hobby desk. Each figure stands approximately 32mm to the eye line and depicts a half-organic, half-mechanical warrior suspended above a conical thruster base, clutching compact firearms and fitted with wickedly curved claw appendages at the feet. The oversized dome helmets, trailing parchment strips, and layered carapace plating give the squad a distinct machine-cult identity straight out of the grim far future.

This listing includes five unique poses, supplied as physical pre-printed resin miniatures with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned where needed. Minor assembly may be required on some figures. No printing equipment or digital files are involved. You receive the physical models shown, ready to assemble and prime on arrival. Bases are included.

Each Sci-fi miniature in this squad has been sculpted with exceptional surface detail: riveted armour panels, bundled cabling running across the torso, mechanised lower limbs ending in predatory talons, and elaborate breathing or sensory apparatus covering the face. The variety of weapon loadouts and dynamic poses ensures the squad looks coherent on the tabletop while still reading as individual warriors.

These models work perfectly as fast-attack or skirmish units in any grimdark sci-fi wargame using 28mm to 32mm scale rules. Sculptor credit goes to DakkaDakka.

Painting Guide: Sci-Fi Machine Cult Miniatures:Aerobellum Pursuers Squad

The palette below leans into cold metallics broken by warm rust and aged bone, giving your Aerobellum Pursuers a look that feels ancient and threatening at once. This sci-fi colour scheme suits an experienced painter but can be simplified for beginners by skipping the advanced weathering steps.

1. Prime

  • Spray with a grey or black primer for maximum shadow retention in the deep recesses.
  • A zenithal white mist from above will help define highlights before you apply any colour.

2. Armour Base

  • Apply a medium steel metallic over all armour plates, working in thin coats.
  • Wash the entire model with a dark blue-black shade to deepen the recesses and unify the tone.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the rivets, cabling bundles, and edge strips with a bright silver or gold metallic.
  • Paint the parchment strips with pale bone, shading into brown at the folds.

4. Weapons

  • Base the firearms in a dark gunmetal, then edge highlight with silver to suggest worn use.
  • Add a faint glow colour such as green or orange to any energy cell or lens detail.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple orange-brown rust pigment or paint at joints, lower armour edges, and the claw feet.
  • Drag a dry brush of bright silver across raised edges to simulate scratched paint and battle wear.

6. Bases

  • Paint the thruster column in a dark grey and dry brush with light grey, then apply a spot of heat-stain blue or purple at the base of the cone to imply exhaust residue.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
