From the Forgotten Champions collection comes the Red Knight Rider, a single resin miniature sculpted by Haito that brings brutal mounted warfare to your tabletop with breathtaking detail. Riding atop a heavily armoured war-beast clad in layered plate and feathered barding, this warrior raises a blade to the sky while bearing a fearsome lion-faced shield — ready to crash through enemy lines without mercy.
The sculpt captures every rivet, skull motif, and spiral pauldron in crisp high-resolution resin detail. Curved horns crown the rider's helm, and the mount's hooves are wrapped in thick, claw-like feathering that evokes a creature born of both nobility and carnage. This is a centrepiece model worthy of any warband, kill team, or display board.
Designed for tabletop scale, the Red Knight Rider stands approximately 50mm to the top of the raised sword, making it an imposing presence on any battlefield. Part of the Forgotten Champions range, this miniature suits collectors, competitive players, and painters seeking a show-stopping mounted warrior with a grimdark edge.
Supplied as an unpainted resin kit. Painting and assembly required. Designed and sculpted by Haito for the Forgotten Champions line.
Painting Guide: Red Knight RiderThis guide will help you bring your Forgotten Champions Red Knight Rider to life with a battle-worn, grimdark aesthetic that honours the brutal elegance of the sculpt.
1. Prime
- Apply a black or dark grey primer for maximum shadow depth across the layered armour plates
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat armour plates in a deep iron or gunmetal grey
- Apply a rich burgundy red to select plating to reinforce the Red Knight theme
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out rivets and trim in aged bronze or tarnished gold
- Paint the lion-faced shield in bone white with a brown wash to emphasise the relief detail
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the blade in silver, then add directional edge highlights
- Glaze the sword with a faint blue tint to suggest supernatural sharpness
5. Weathering
- Stipple dark brown and rust tones across lower armour plates and mount barding
- Add scratches to the shield surface using a fine brush and thinned silver paint
6. Bases
- Use cracked earth texture paste, dry-brushed in pale grey and finished with tufts of dead grass to suit the bleak, war-torn aesthetic of Forgotten Champions
