Forge your Sisterhood of Battle warband with the Poenitentiam Battle Sisters Squad build kit, a grimdark squad of five highly detailed 32mm resin miniatures sculpted by DakkaDakka. Each sister stands resolute in devotional armour etched with sacred iconography, blindfolded in acts of holy penance, and armed with brutal close-combat relics worthy of the battlefield.

This modular kit contains 21 unique parts, giving you full control over your squad composition. Choose from 5 distinct headswaps, 5 dynamic body poses, and 6 interchangeable weapon and hand options including chainswords, a eviscerator-style great blade, a stub pistol, and a parchment scroll bearer. Whether you are building a retinue for a skirmish game or expanding a larger Sisterhood of Battle force, this kit delivers the flexibility and character your warband demands.

The sculpts are clean and crisp, with flowing robes, layered plate armour, studded leather straps, and devotional seals pressed into every surface. Blindfolded faces across the head options reinforce the penitent theme, while varied stances ensure each of the five sisters reads as a unique warrior rather than a copy. At 32mm from feet to eyes, these models fit seamlessly alongside other modern grimdark sci-fi ranges.

Perfect for painters, collectors, and commanders who want a Sisterhood of Battle unit that carries real visual weight on the tabletop. All 21 parts are included as a build kit ready for assembly and painting.

Painting Guide: Poenitentiam Battle Sisters Squad (build kit)

This guide is designed to help you bring your Sisterhood of Battle squad to life with a classic penitent white armour scheme edged in gold, with dark robes and rust-stained blades to reinforce that grimdark tone.

1. Prime

  • Apply a light grey or white zenithal prime from above to define natural highlights across the armour panels

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat armour plates in a pure white or off-white, building up two thin coats for even coverage
  • Apply a thin wash of blue-grey or pale sepia into the recesses to create depth without dulling the white

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint all trim, buckles, and iconography in a rich gold, then shade with a brown wash to age and tone it down
  • Highlight raised edges of gold trim with a bright silver or pale gold to catch the light

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat chainsword blades and eviscerator teeth in dark metal, then drybrush with silver to pick out the teeth
  • Add streaks of rust orange and dried blood red along blade edges for a weathered, battle-worn finish

5. Weathering

  • Stipple chipping fluid or sponge dark grey onto armour edges to simulate paint chips and battlefield wear
  • Glaze lower robes and boot armour with a thin mud brown to ground the models visually

6. Bases

  • Use cracked earth texture paste or fine sand, paint in dark brown, drybrush with bone, and add tufts of dead grass for a desolate shrine-world aesthetic
