Pichina is the electrifying centrepiece of the Waifumon pin-up figurine range, a 1/6 scale physical resin collectible that arrives at your door fully cleaned, supports already removed, and ready for painting or display. Standing approximately 280-300mm tall from base to the tips of her iconic lightning-bolt ears, this figure captures a dynamic, playful pose with flowing twin-tail hair, a form-fitting yellow bodysuit, and expressive anime-styled features that demand attention on any shelf.
Cast in high-quality grey resin, every curve and costume detail has been sculpted with precision. The figure ships as a physical piece, requiring no additional printing or specialist equipment. Assembly is minimal, and the smooth resin surface takes primer and paint beautifully. The circular display base is included, giving Pichina a stable footing worthy of a collector-grade showcase piece.
This figurine is aimed at adult hobbyists who appreciate bold character design and expressive sculpting. Whether you add her to a growing Waifumon collection or paint her as a standalone showpiece, Pichina rewards careful brushwork with stunning results. The exposed skin areas, layered hair, and costume details each offer a distinct painting challenge and a genuine opportunity to develop your miniature painting skills.
Squad size: single figure. Sculptor credit to be confirmed.
Painting Guide: Pichina - Waifumon, Pin Up Figurine, 1/6 Scale CollectableThe following guide will help you achieve a vibrant, collector-quality finish on your Pichina figurine. Work in thin, patient layers and allow each stage to fully cure before moving on.
1. Prime
- Apply a thin, even coat of grey or white resin-compatible spray primer across the entire figure.
- Allow 24 hours cure time before painting to ensure full adhesion on the smooth resin surface.
2. Skin Base
- Basecoat all exposed skin areas with a warm pale flesh tone such as Vallejo Basic Skintone or Citadel Kislev Flesh.
- Build up smooth mid-tones with a lighter flesh highlight, blending towards the raised areas of the face, arms, and legs.
3. Costume and Hair
- Basecoat the yellow bodysuit and twin-tail hair with a rich golden yellow such as Averland Sunset, then layer with Flash Gitz Yellow towards the highlights.
- Paint the black contrast elements of the costume and ear tips with Abaddon Black, leaving a thin line of yellow visible at the edges for depth.
4. Face and Expression
- Use a fine detail brush to pick out the lips in a soft coral or rose tone, and the eyes with warm amber irises and fine black pupils.
- Apply subtle pink washes to the cheek areas to replicate the blushing expression captured in the sculpt.
5. Weathering
- Keep weathering minimal on this figure. A light gloss varnish on the bodysuit and a satin finish on the skin will enhance the character's lively aesthetic.
- A very light wash of Seraphim Sepia into the hair recesses adds depth without dulling the gold tones.
6. Base
- Paint the circular display base in a dark metallic tone such as Leadbelcher, then drybrush lightly with Ironbreaker for a polished platform effect.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
