This guide is designed to help you bring out the rich Norse character of this figure, from her gleaming armour to her wild, windswept hair.

1. Prime

• Apply a light grey or white zenithal prime to help define the raised details before you begin blocking in colour.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the breastplate and helm with a dark iron tone such as Leadbelcher or Iron Breaker.
• Add a thin wash of Nuln Oil across all metal surfaces to deepen recesses and establish shadow.

3. Trim and Details

• Pick out the shield knotwork and belt studs with a warm brass or gold, then shade with Agrax Earthshade for an aged look.
• Paint the fur trim with a warm mid-brown basecoat, dry brush with a lighter cream tone, and finish with a diluted brown wash.

4. Weapons

• Basecoat the axe head with a steel tone and shade deeply around the socket and blade root to suggest wear.
• Highlight the cutting edges with a bright silver to imply a honed blade.

5. Weathering
