Forgotten Champions brings you Nyxis, a deadly rogue who moves like a shadow and strikes without mercy. Sculpted by Haito, this single miniature captures a mercenary at the height of her lethality, dual blades drawn and body coiled in a combat stance that radiates precision and danger.

Nyxis wears intricately detailed floral-etched leathers that mask the cold efficiency beneath. Her hooded silhouette and ornate arm guards speak to a warrior who earns coin through skill rather than loyalty, a blade for hire in a world where allegiances shift like smoke. The base features scattered rubble and a fallen foe, telling a story of a contract already half-fulfilled.

This resin miniature stands approximately 32mm scale and is supplied unpainted, ready for assembly and priming. The level of sculpted detail across the clothing, weapons, and base makes this piece a standout addition to any warband or display collection. Forgotten Champions models are designed for tabletop gaming, dioramas, and collectors who demand exceptional quality.

Squad size: 1 model. Sculptor: Haito. Faction inspiration: Mercenaries.

Painting Guide: Nyxis - Rogue

Nyxis rewards painters who enjoy layering deep shadows against warm leather tones. This Forgotten Champions piece has enough surface texture to make washes and drybrushing highly effective throughout every stage.

1. Prime

  • Apply a neutral grey or warm bone primer to preserve the floral detailing on the legs and arms

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat leathers in a medium tan such as Zandri Dust or Leather Brown
  • Apply Doombull Brown to shadowed recesses around the waist sash and leg panels

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out the hood rim and arm guard edges in a pale bone or ivory tone
  • Use a fine brush to highlight the raised floral motifs with Ushabti Bone

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat blades in Leadbelcher and shade with Nuln Oil for a cold steel finish
  • Edge highlight with Stormhost Silver to bring out the curved blade geometry

5. Weathering

  • Stipple thinned Rhinox Hide onto boot soles and lower legs for dirt and road grime
  • Add small rust streaks on blade edges using Skrag Brown applied with a torn sponge

6. Bases

  • Drybrush rubble with Administratum Grey, glaze with Agrax Earthshade, and finish with a light dust pigment around the fallen body for a grimdark battlefield feel
