Forgotten Champions bring you Morva, a formidable Magic User who commands the battlefield with cold confidence and dark power. Sculpted by Haito, this 32mm resin miniature captures every detail of her imposing silhouette, from the horned cowl framing her face to the ornate skull motifs adorning her corset and pauldrons.
Morva stands with a commanding presence, one hand resting on her hip while the other trails a massive, jagged axe along the cracked stone ground beneath her feet. Her flowing robes split at the front to reveal armoured greaves etched with arcane sigils, hinting at a warrior-scholar who walks between worlds of steel and sorcery.
The sculpt is presented in two views, front and back, showcasing the incredible depth of detail Haito has achieved. Skull decorations, layered cloth textures, and a weathered base scattered with bones and rubble make Morva one of the most characterful releases in the Forgotten Champions range. She is the perfect centrepiece for a magic-wielding warband or a powerful solo champion on the tabletop.
This set contains 1 highly detailed resin miniature supplied unpainted and unassembled. Bases and scenic elements shown are included. Suitable for players and collectors who demand the finest quality in their Forgotten Champions collection.
Painting Guide: Morva - Magic UserMorva rewards a painter who enjoys contrast and texture. The Forgotten Champions aesthetic suits a palette of muted darks with selective accent lighting to make her magical nature feel truly alive.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey primer spray for a neutral mid-tone base that suits her stone and bone aesthetic
- Zenithal highlight with white from above to pre-shade the raised cloth and armour surfaces
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat armour plates with a deep charcoal or dark slate grey
- Layer up with a cool blue-grey on raised edges to give the armour a worn, arcane feel
3. Trim and Details
- Paint skull details and horned helm trim with aged bone tones, starting from a dark brown and building up to off-white
- Add a thin sepia wash into recesses on all skull ornaments to deepen shadows and enhance definition
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the axe head in dark iron, then drybrush with gunmetal for a chipped, brutal finish
- Glaze the axe edges with a purple or teal tone to suggest enchantment without overpowering the Forgotten Champions grimdark palette
5. Weathering
- Stipple rust and chipping fluid effects across the lower axe blade and boot armour
- Apply a thin oil paint wash of raw umber across the robes and base to unify all elements
6. Bases
- Drybrush the cracked stone base in light grey and bone white, then pick out scattered skulls individually to make them pop against the dark groundwork
