The Maradaz Heavy Weapons Mob ork squad arrives as a set of 5 physical resin miniatures, each sculpted with brutal, heavily armed warriors bristling with oversized cannons, jury-rigged guns, mechanical claws, and chunky armour plates. These are not digital files. Each model has been printed in high-detail resin, supports removed, and cleaned ready for assembly and painting.
The squad comes as 18 separate parts, allowing you to assemble each of the 5 unique poses. Every model stands approximately 32 mm from feet to eyes, making them compatible with popular 28-32 mm scale grimdark sci-fi wargames. The sculpts capture a raw, industrial menace, with looted tech, skull trophies, and brutish proportions that fit perfectly into any greenskin warband or chaotic raiding force on the tabletop.
Each of the 5 models in the Maradaz Heavy Weapons Mob ork set features a distinct loadout, from rotary cannon platforms to claw-armed bruisers, giving your warband genuine variety on the battlefield. Poses are dynamic and aggressive, communicating forward momentum and destructive intent. These models were sculpted by DakkaDakka, whose work brings a distinctive intensity to every piece in this range.
Models are supplied unpainted and require super glue for assembly. Bases are included. Paints and tools are not included.
Painting Guide: Maradaz Heavy Weapons Mob ork miniatures – Squad of 5 Resin ModelsThis guide is designed to help you achieve a grimdark, battle-worn finish that suits the brutal aesthetic of the Maradaz Heavy Weapons Mob ork squad.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or black spray primer evenly across all surfaces, holding the can 25-30 cm from the model.
- Allow to cure fully before handling, ideally 20-30 minutes in a warm, dry environment.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat armour plates with a dark olive green or a muted military green for a classic greenskin warrior look.
- Apply a second thin coat once dry to ensure full coverage over the grey resin surface.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint metal trim, bolts, and mechanical components with a dark iron or gunmetal base colour.
- Add spot colours to skulls, trophies, and cloth wraps using bone white or dirty yellow to break up the palette.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat large gun barrels and mechanical claws in a dark steel tone, then drybrush a lighter silver over raised edges.
- Pick out any energy cells or lenses with a deep red or orange for visual contrast.
5. Weathering
- Apply a generous wash of brown or black ink over the entire model, letting it settle into recesses to define muscle and armour detail.
- Drybrush chipped edges on armour plates with a light silver to simulate heavy combat wear.
6. Bases
- Texture the base with fine sand or grit, paint it a dark ash grey, then drybrush with a pale stone colour. Add a static grass tuft or rubble fragment for a battlefield feel.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
