The following guide walks you through painting this model from bare resin to finished display piece, covering skin, armour, weapons and basing for a cohesive, battle-worn look.

1. Prime

• Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer across all surfaces, paying attention to the recesses around the chain wrappings and spiked pauldron.
• Allow to cure fully before touching the model.

2. Armour Base

• Basecoat the leather armour panels in a deep brown such as Rhinox Hide, then layer up with Mournfang Brown for raised surfaces.
• Paint the cloth wrappings around her legs in a pale linen colour such as Ushabti Bone to contrast against the darker leather.

3. Trim and Details

• Paint the spiked pauldron and helmet horns in a muted gold such as Retributor Armour, then wash with Agrax Earthshade to age the metal.
• Pick out the chain links in Leadbelcher and wash with Nuln Oil for a dark, worn iron look.

4. Weapons

• Basecoat the scythe blade and polearm spines in Leadbelcher, then highlight edges with Runefang Steel for a sharp, battle-used finish.
• Add a thin glaze of Druchii Violet towards the blade root to hint at dark energy infused into the weapon.

5. Weathering

• Apply selective chipping to the armour edges using a small sponge and Rhinox Hide followed by Ironbreaker to simulate worn paint and scratched metal.
• Drag a thin line of Seraphim Sepia along the lower cloth edges to suggest dirt and travel wear.

6. Bases

• Drybrush the rocky scenic base in Mechanicus Standard Grey then Administratum Grey, and add a light dust of Terminatus Stone to the highest points for a sun-bleached stone effect.
