The Interfusant of The Cosmic Harvester is a brooding, heavily armed brute clad in tattered robes, chain mail, and scavenged plating, standing 41mm from top to bottom on a rubble-strewn base littered with skulls and bones. This single-miniature release captures a creature of immense physical menace, wielding a spiked polearm weapon in one hand and hauling a massive riveted door-shield in the other. Its hooded, skeletal visage and barbed tail mark it as something born from the darkest reaches of a dying cosmos.
The physical resin miniature ships with supports already removed and cleaned, ready to assemble and paint. Cast in high-detail grey resin, the sculpt rewards close inspection at every angle. The shield features a barred viewport and heavy bolt detailing, while the weapon head combines a blunt hammer with a protruding spike. The base terrain includes scattered skulls, clawed limbs, and fractured stone, adding instant narrative to the model without additional work.
Scaled at 32mm, the Interfusant of The Cosmic Harvester fits seamlessly into most grimdark sci-fi tabletop wargame systems. It works as a champion, elite fighter, or character model within a larger warband. The imposing silhouette and dense surface detail make it equally compelling as a display piece on any hobby shelf. This piece was sculpted by DakkaDakka, whose vision defines every detail of the model from the barbed tail to the riveted shield face.
This product is a physical resin miniature. It is supplied unpainted and may require light assembly depending on component configuration.
Painting Guide: Interfusant of The Cosmic Harvester - Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures, 32mm ScaleThis guide is designed to help hobbyists bring the Interfusant of The Cosmic Harvester to life on the tabletop with a grimdark, battle-worn aesthetic. Work in thin layers and allow each stage to fully cure before proceeding.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or black zenithal prime to define the natural light and shadow zones across the robes, armour, and shield.
- A light dusting of white from directly above will help distinguish raised detail for drybrushing later.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat exposed armour plates in a dark iron tone such as Leadbelcher or Scale75 Heavy Metal.
- Block in the robes with a deep brown or charcoal grey to reinforce the worn, undead warband aesthetic.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out rivets, bolts, and chain links with a bright silver or brass metallic to create contrast against the darker armour.
- Apply a dark wash such as Nuln Oil across all metallic surfaces to settle into recesses and create instant depth.
4. Weapons
- Paint the polearm shaft in a desaturated wood brown, drybrushed lightly with a pale cream to emphasise grain.
- Treat the hammer head and spike with iron metallics, then spot-rust with orange and brown stippling at stress points.
5. Weathering
- Streak the shield face with vertical rust and grime lines using thinned Agrax Earthshade and a fine liner brush.
- Add chipping on all armour edges using a sponge technique with Dark Reaper and a silver highlight applied immediately after.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky terrain with Administratum Grey over a black base, then pick out skulls in bone tones with a Seraphim Sepia wash.
- Finish with a matte varnish to protect the paintwork and reduce any shine from metallic layers.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
