Forgotten Champions brings you Inga, a savage Human Barbarian sculpted by Haito and ready to carve her name into legend. This single resin miniature stands as a testament to brutal northern might, her feathered cloak billowing behind her as she raises her intricately etched longsword and braces her round shield for the next charge.
Inga is draped in layered furs and bone fetishes, her horned helm framing a fierce, battle-hardened face caught mid-war cry. Skull trophies hang from her belt, and her bare, muscular frame speaks of a warrior who trusts rage over armour. The feathered cloak cascades dramatically to the ground, layered with extraordinary sculpted texture that rewards careful drybrushing and ink work.
The base is littered with shattered bones and broken rock, placing Inga squarely atop the ruins of those foolish enough to face her. This Forgotten Champions release is ideal for skirmish games, narrative campaigns, or as a centrepiece on any collector's shelf. The sculpt is approximately 35mm to the top of the helm, with a generous scenic base adding further height.
Squad size: 1 model. Sculptor: Haito. Faction inspiration: Barbarians. Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Resin may require light cleaning before priming.
Painting Guide: Inga - Human BarbarianThis Forgotten Champions warrior rewards a gritty, weathered palette. Think cold northern wastes, dried blood, and storm-bleached bone.
1. Prime
- Apply a grey or off-white zenithal prime to capture the strong sculpted highlights across the cloak, helm, and sword arm
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat exposed skin in a warm mid-tone flesh, shading down into browns at recesses
- Paint the fur and feathered cloak in pale bone white, ready for heavy wash and drybrush layering
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out the knotwork belt, bracers, and helm decorations in dull bronze or aged gold
- Paint skull trophies and bone fetishes in off-white with a sepia wash to unify them
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the longsword blade in dark iron, highlighting the etched fuller with bright steel
- Paint the crossguard and pommel in aged bronze to tie back to the belt details
5. Weathering
- Apply a dark brown oil wash across all surfaces, letting it pool in fur texture and recesses
- Drybrush the feathered cloak with a pale cream to lift the layered feather tips dramatically
6. Bases
- Drybrush shattered bones and rocky rubble in bleached bone tones, then apply a thin dark wash to tie the groundwork to the model's overall cold, brutal colour story
