The Havesters Cult Assassinator is a brooding, cloaked operative built for precision strikes and shadow warfare in the grimdark far future. Standing 29mm from feet to eyes, this imposing figure crouches forward in a dynamic firing pose, long-barrelled rifle raised, tattered cape billowing dramatically behind. A hunched, feral creature accompanies the assassin at ground level, adding menace and depth to the composition.
This physical resin miniature arrives with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting. The kit comprises 14 individual parts, offering excellent detail and multiple head options including hooded variants. The sculptor has packed the figure with tactical gear, buckles, pouches, and armoured plating that reward careful brushwork. The Havesters Cult Assassinator pairs beautifully with other cult-themed infantry for narrative skirmish games or as a centrepiece character in larger wargaming forces.
Each piece is cast in high-quality grey resin, capturing fine surface textures across the armour panels, weapon barrel, and the grotesque familiar crouching at the operative's feet. Whether you field this model as an elite sniper, a rogue agent, or a cult enforcer, the pose and detail make it a standout addition to any collection. The Havesters Cult Assassinator is supplied unassembled and unpainted, giving you full creative control over the final result.
Painting Guide: Havesters Cult Assassinator - Sci-Fi Wargaming MiniaturesThe following guide is designed to help hobbyists achieve a grimdark, battle-worn finish that suits the sinister nature of this model. Take your time between stages and thin your paints for the best results.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime using black spray from below and grey or white from directly above to establish natural light and shadow across the armour and cape.
2. Armour Base
- Base coat armour panels in a deep slate or charcoal grey using a flat brush, working carefully around recessed detail.
- Apply a second thin layer once dry to ensure consistent, even coverage across all armoured surfaces.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out straps, buckles, and pouches in a worn leather brown, leaving recesses slightly darker for natural depth.
- Highlight raised armour edges with a lighter grey or off-white to simulate worn, battle-scarred plating.
4. Weapons
- Paint the rifle barrel and body in a dark gunmetal, then drybrush with a brighter silver to bring out the machined surfaces and muzzle detail.
- Add a thin oil wash of dark brown or black to settle into the barrel grooves and mechanical joints.
5. Weathering
- Use a sponge or stippling brush to add chips and scuffs across armour panels, applying a dark brown first then a silver dot above each chip for depth.
- Apply a thin sepia or dark tone wash across leather areas and the crouching familiar to unify shadows and add age.
6. Bases
- Texture the base with fine grit or technical paste, paint in a dark ash grey, then drybrush with a pale stone colour. Add tufts or rubble to match your wider warband's basing scheme.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
