Gobbo Wagons are here to crash through your battlefield with all the ramshackle brutality you could want from a trio of goblin-crewed armoured vehicles. This set includes three distinct tank miniatures, each one dripping with crude bolts, scrap-metal plating, jagged blades, and oversized guns that look like they were assembled in the dark by very enthusiastic greenskins. Every vehicle comes as a physical resin miniature with supports already removed, sanded, and cleaned, arriving ready to assemble and paint.
Tank 1 measures 65 x 66 x 50mm and features a wide, squat hull topped with a massive circular cannon barrel and a goggle-wearing goblin commander peering over the cupola. Tank 2 measures 59 x 48 x 55mm and sports a brutal side-mounted cannon, exhaust stacks, and aggressive forward blades. Tank 3 measures 72 x 49 x 53mm and carries a turret-mounted crew figure armed with binoculars alongside a cluster of side weapons and loudspeaker horns. The complete set totals 25 individual parts across all three vehicles.
These Gobbo Wagons are ideal for skirmish wargames, large-scale greenskin armies, or as objective markers and terrain centrepieces. The grimdark aesthetic fits naturally alongside any ragtag alien warband or post-apocalyptic scrap faction, and their compact size makes them easy to store and transport between gaming sessions.
Each miniature is cast in high-quality grey resin. Minor flash or mould lines may be present and can be cleaned with a hobby knife before assembly. Standard plastic model glue will not bond resin. Use superglue (cyanoacrylate) for assembly.
Painting Guide: Gobbo Wagons – Ramshackle Goblin Tanks (Set of 3)These Gobbo Wagons reward a heavily weathered, battle-worn paint scheme. The following guide will help you achieve a convincing scrap-iron finish across all three tanks.
1. Prime
- Apply a zenithal prime using black from below and grey from above to establish natural shadows and highlights before applying any colour.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat all hull panels with a dark brown such as Rhinox Hide or Doombull Brown to suggest rusted, poorly maintained iron.
- Drybrush lightly with Leadbelcher or Ironbreaker to bring out raised edges and panel details.
3. Trim and Details
- Paint rivets, bolts, and mechanical fittings with Balthasar Gold or Brass Scorpion for a worn, tarnished metal look.
- Pick out exhaust stacks and engine vents with pure Leadbelcher, then wash with Agrax Earthshade to deepen the recesses.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat cannon barrels and gun housings with Abaddon Black, then drybrush with Ironbreaker to suggest worn metal.
- Add thin edge highlights of Stormhost Silver to the very tips of barrels and blade edges.
5. Weathering
- Apply a generous wash of Agrax Earthshade or Nuln Oil across the entire model to settle into panel lines and add grime.
- Stipple patches of Typhus Corrosion over flat armour panels, then drybrush over the top with Ryza Rust for heavy rust effects.
6. Bases
- Use texture paste such as Astrogranite or Stirland Mud, then drybrush with a pale grey or bone tone to match a dusty warzone aesthetic.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
