Forgotten Champions brings you Duskfang, a ruthless Human Fighter who walks the razor edge between honour and survival. Sculpted by Haito, this 32mm scale resin miniature captures a battle-hardened mercenary warrior clad in jagged plate armour, twin blades drawn and ready for blood.
Duskfang stands in a wide, aggressive stance with one curved blade low and a serrated bone-adorned weapon raised at her side. Her horned helm, layered pauldrons, and chainmail stockings speak of a fighter who has looted, survived, and adapted across countless brutal campaigns. She is not a soldier of any great cause. She fights for coin, for fury, and for the thrill of the kill.
This single model kit is ideal for skirmish wargames, tabletop RPGs, or display collections. The sculpt is packed with fine surface detail including etched belt work, textured scale leggings, and a dramatic flowing mane of hair visible in the rear profile. The rocky rubble base adds immediate battlefield atmosphere straight from the box. Forgotten Champions miniatures are designed for painters of all skill levels, from basecoat beginners to advanced artists chasing competition quality.
Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Resin models may require light cleanup before priming. Suitable for ages 15 and over. Part of the Forgotten Champions mercenary range sculpted by Haito.
Painting Guide: Duskfang - Human FighterThis guide will help you bring your Forgotten Champions mercenary to life with a gritty, weathered palette fit for a blade-for-hire who has seen too many wars.
1. Prime
- Spray with a mid-grey or bone primer to preserve the fine surface detail across the armour and chainmail
2. Armour Base
- Apply a warm stone grey such as Rakarth Flesh or Administratum Grey to all plate sections
- Wash the whole model with Agrax Earthshade or a dark brown ink to settle into crevices
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out buckles, belt fittings, and armour edges with a pale gold such as Liberator Gold or Gehenna's Gold
- Paint the bone skull accessory with Ushabti Bone followed by a Seraphim Sepia wash
4. Weapons
- Basecoat both blades with Leadbelcher or any dark steel tone
- Edge highlight with Stormhost Silver and add a faint blue-green tint to suggest cold, well-honed steel
5. Weathering
- Stipple Rhinox Hide along lower armour edges and boot wrappings for mud and grime
- Add fine scratches to blade edges using a thin line of Ironbreaker dry-brushed at shallow angles
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky rubble base with Terminatus Stone then Wraithbone for a dusty, sun-bleached battlefield look before sealing with matte varnish
