The Doomsday Infantry Squad arrives as a full ten-figure set of battle-hardened soldiers, each sculpted with sharp, characterful detail and ready to hold the line across any war-torn tabletop. Every figure in this set is a physical resin miniature, cast and finished to a high standard, with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned. They ship ready to assemble and paint straight out of the box, standing 32mm from feet to eyes.

The squad is built for variety and presence on the table. The ten figures include standard troopers clutching heavy-barrelled rifles, a masked flamethrower specialist kneeling over a pile of scorched skulls, a robed swordsman with a captured greenskin trophy at his feet, a crouching gunner loaded down with technical equipment, a cloaked rifleman, and a bare-faced sergeant standing tall with a blade at his side. Each pose is distinct, and the detail across armour plates, gas masks, greatcoats, and backpack equipment rewards careful painting at every stage.

These figures are designed for adult hobbyists who want a cohesive, characterful infantry squad with real grimdark weight to it. The Doomsday Infantry Squad is a strong centrepiece for any large-scale battle collection, and the ten-figure count means you can field a full unit straight from one purchase, with enough variety to keep the group feeling alive rather than uniform.

Painting Guide: Doomsday Infantry Squad (x10)

These figures suit a muted, gritty palette with strong contrast across armour and cloth. The following guide is a starting point you can adapt to match your own force colours.

1. Prime

  • Apply a grey or black zenithal prime to define shadows and mid-tones before applying any colour.
  • A light spray from above with white over a dark base coat gives instant depth without extra shading work.

2. Armour Base

  • Base the armour plates in a dark military green or deep grey, depending on your preferred faction scheme.
  • Apply a heavy wash of dark brown or black into all recesses and panel lines, then leave to fully dry before highlighting.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out collar edging, buckles, and belt hardware in a dull brass or aged silver using a fine detail brush.
  • Paint the greatcoats and long coats in a warm off-white, stone, or sandy tone to contrast the darker armour.

4. Weapons

  • Base the heavy rifles and flamer in dark metal, then drybrush a lighter silver over raised edges and barrel lips to suggest worn steel.
  • Add a rust tone to the flamer tank and any visible tubing for a well-used, battlefield-worn look.

5. Weathering

  • Stipple a thin dark brown around boot soles and lower leg armour to suggest dried mud.
  • Use a fine brush to chip light silver onto armour plate edges, following natural wear lines along corners and contact points.

6. Bases

  • Texture the base with a fine aggregate paste or painted rubble effect, then dry-brush in pale stone over a dark brown base coat.
  • Add tufts of dead grass or small debris pieces to complete the desolate battlefield feel suggested by the sculpted skull details on the specialist figures.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
