The Diseased PG Gunners arrive as a squad of five hulking, plague-ridden warriors, each one sculpted with grotesque detail and brutal character. These physical resin miniatures come pre-printed, with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for you to assemble and paint straight out of the box. Standing 29mm from feet to eyes, every figure carries the weight of corruption in its silhouette, from bloated torsos and bubbling flesh to layered armour plates cracked by years of relentless warfare.
This build kit contains 17 unique parts, giving you full control over how your squad takes shape. You receive 5 interchangeable bodies in varied combat stances, 5 distinct heads ranging from tumour-clustered helmets to pipe-venting grotesques, and 6 arms paired with weapons including chunky assault guns and heavy blasters. The modular design means no two squads need look alike, and every combination reads as a cohesive, grimdark unit straight from the blighted fringes of some forgotten warzone.
Sculpted by DakkaDakka, these figures are aimed at experienced hobbyists who want characterful, rank-and-file troops with genuine personality. The Diseased PG Gunners fit naturally alongside any grimdark sci-fi warband or corrupted militia force. Whether you are building a full infantry platoon or want a small elite cell of diseased veterans, this kit delivers variety, presence, and quality in equal measure.
Each kit ships as unpainted, unassembled resin components. Assembly with super glue is recommended.
Painting Guide: Diseased PG Gunners (build kit)
This guide is written for the grimdark aesthetic that suits the Diseased PG Gunners perfectly. Work through each stage methodically and let the layers build naturally for a convincing, battle-worn result.
1. Prime
- Use a grey or black spray primer applied in thin, even coats across all assembled parts.
- Allow full curing time of at least two hours before applying any paint.
2. Armour Base
- Apply a deep, desaturated green such as Death World Forest or Castellan Green to all armour plates.
- Follow with a heavy wash of Agrax Earthshade or Athonian Camoshade to push depth into recesses.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out buckles, clasps, and belt hardware in a tarnished bronze or Leadbelcher metallic.
- Wash metallic areas with Nuln Oil for a grimy, neglected finish.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat gun bodies in Mechanicus Standard Grey or a dark iron tone.
- Drybrush edges lightly with Ironbreaker to suggest worn metal and heavy use.
5. Weathering
- Stipple small patches of rust using a sponge and Skrag Brown or Troll Slayer Orange across armour edges and joints.
- Add streaks of Agrax Earthshade thinned with water running vertically down armour plates to suggest fluid and grime.
6. Bases
- Texture paste in a muddy brown works well. Finish with a gloss varnish pooled in low spots to suggest stagnant water or ichor before sealing the whole miniature with matte varnish.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
