The Cursebound - Plague Eradicators are a squad of four fearsome resin miniatures, each sculpted by Sultry Miniatures to embody the dread aesthetic of Void Plague Warriors clad in corroded armour and plague-worn regalia. These physical miniatures arrive already printed in high-detail resin, supports removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting straight out of the box.
This squad of four includes a torch-bearing shield warrior striding across shattered terrain, a hulking armoured gunner wielding an oversized cannon fitted with grotesque void-tech attachments, a spiked flail-wielding brute in a plague knight helmet adorned with chains and skulls, and a stocky plague alchemist clutching volatile flasks and vials. Each figure captures a distinct battlefield role while sharing the cohesive grimdark aesthetic that defines the Cursebound range. Approximate scale is 32mm heroic, making them fully compatible with most popular wargame systems and display collections.
The Cursebound - Plague Eradicators are ideal for collectors, narrative wargamers, and painters who want characterful, highly detailed sculpts that reward careful brushwork. Every surface is packed with texture, from rusted bolts and fraying cloaks to beak masks and corroded weaponry, giving painters countless focal points to explore across the squad.
Each set ships as a physical resin squad, cleaned and support-free, ready to base, assemble where required, and paint to your standard.
Painting Guide: Cursebound - Plague EradicatorsThis guide will help you bring the Cursebound - Plague Eradicators to life with a cohesive grimdark palette suited to their Void Plague theme.
1. Prime
- Apply a black or dark grey spray primer evenly across all four figures to maximise shadow depth and detail contrast.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat armour plates in a dark iron or gunmetal grey such as Leadbelcher or Scale75 Heavy Metal.
- Block in cloth areas with a deep olive, muted teal, or necrotic brown to contrast the metal.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out rivets, pipes, and mechanical fittings in a brassy gold or verdigris-touched bronze.
- Paint beak masks and goggle lenses in off-white or pale bone, then shade heavily with green-tinted washes to suggest plague exposure.
4. Weapons
- The flail and cannon barrel suit a dark steel finish with heavy rust streaking using Typhus Corrosion and a dry brush of Ryza Rust.
- Flask and vial contents work well in sickly yellows, toxic greens, or luminous purple to suggest volatile plague compounds.
5. Weathering
- Apply green-brown washes across armour recesses to simulate corrosion and plague residue.
- Sponge chipping effects in dark brown over metal edges to suggest battlefield wear and neglect.
6. Bases
- Match the scenic bases provided with cracked earth, dead foliage, and a pale grey or bone dry brush to tie the squad together on the tabletop.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy — not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
