The BullWar Boss is a towering brute of salvaged iron, crude weaponry, and sheer unstoppable aggression, scaled at 32mm for use in grimdark sci-fi wargames and tabletop skirmishes. This physical resin miniature arrives with supports already removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting straight out of the box. Standing over its defeated enemies on a detailed scenic base, this single-model kit captures every rivet, scar, and jagged tooth of a warlord who has clawed his way to the top through brute force and crude cunning.

The sculpt features a massively armoured frame cobbled together from battlefield salvage, exhaust stacks jutting from a hunched back, a grotesque faceplate ringed with savage teeth, and a heavy staff-mace clutched in one fist. A claw-gauntlet fills the off-hand, studded with mechanical fingers built for crushing. The base is scattered with broken weapons and skulls, telling the story of every rival the BullWar Boss has ground underfoot. Every surface is packed with gritty detail that rewards both fast tabletop painting and serious display-quality work.

This miniature is supplied as a single model (1 miniature per unit). It is cast in high-detail grey resin, scaled at 32mm, and is fully compatible with standard wargaming bases. Miniature arrives unassembled if multi-part, and unpainted. Plastic bases, paints, and adhesives are not included.

The BullWar Boss suits collectors and hobbyists who want a commanding centrepiece model for their sci-fi warband or display shelf. Its aggressive silhouette and dense surface detail make it an ideal showpiece for any grimdark collection.

Painting Guide: BullWar Boss - DakkaDakka, Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures, 32mm Scale

This guide walks you through a battle-worn, heavily weathered look that suits the brutal character of the sculpt. All paint brands are suggestions only.

1. Prime

  • Apply a black or dark grey primer spray evenly across all surfaces to capture the deep recesses of the armour plating and mechanical detail.
  • Follow with a zenithal light grey spray from above to pre-shade the model and map your highlights before you pick up a brush.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat the main armour panels in a deep brown-green or dark military green to suggest scavenged, repainted plating.
  • Apply a heavily thinned brown wash across all armour panels and let it pool in the recesses for instant depth and grime.

3. Trim and Details

  • Pick out bolts, rivets, and mechanical fittings in a dark iron or gunmetal grey using a small detail brush.
  • Drybrush raised edges of armour panels lightly with a pale silver to suggest scraping and wear from constant combat.

4. Weapons

  • Basecoat the staff-mace in a dark steel tone, then drybrush with bright silver to bring out the angular head and grip details.
  • Add streaks of orange-brown rust to the shaft and head of the mace using a torn piece of blister foam for a natural chipped texture.

5. Weathering

  • Apply diluted dark brown oil paint or a brown wash over the entire model and wipe back the raised surfaces to leave grime settled in every crevice.
  • Add small chips and scratches on armour edges using a fine brush loaded with a dark brown basecoat followed by a tiny highlight of bright silver above each chip.

6. Bases

  • Drybrush the scenic base in light grey and bone tones to match a blasted, ash-covered battlefield ground.
  • Pick out any skulls or broken weapons on the base in off-white and dark iron to tie them into the overall colour scheme of the model.

This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
