The Sisterhood of Battle commands the battlefield with this formidable Armored Personnel Carrier, a resin-ready 3D printable miniature designed for grimdark sci-fi wargaming. Sculpted by DakkaDakka, this hulking war machine carries the faithful into the heart of the most brutal engagements, bristling with weapon mounts and devotional iconography pressed into every armored plate.
This kit assembles into two distinct configurations: a heavy missile artillery platform fitted with twin launch arrays, and a classic armored carrier variant mounting a turret cannon with sponson weapons. Both variants measure approximately 109mm long, 60mm wide, and 40mm tall, making them an imposing presence on any tabletop. The fleur-de-lys symbols and riveted hull panels speak to the unrelenting faith of those who ride within.
The kit comprises 17 separate parts, offering clean modular assembly and excellent detail resolution across every surface. Track units, hull sides, turret options, and accessory bits are all included, giving hobbyists full flexibility to build the version that suits their force. Whether you field this vehicle as a troop transport or a fire support platform, the Sisterhood of Battle roster gains a centrepiece worthy of the tabletop.
Squad size: 1 vehicle.
Painting Guide: Armored Personnel Carrier of the War SistersThis guide will help you paint your Sisterhood of Battle APC to a battle-ready or display standard, capturing the sacred severity of its devoted crew.
1. Prime
- Apply a white or light grey primer for bright armour schemes, or black primer for a darker, more battle-worn finish.
2. Armour Base
- Base coat the hull in a deep red or bone white to reflect the sacred colours of the devout.
- Apply thin, even coats and allow full drying between layers for smooth coverage over the large flat panels.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out trim, grilles, and devotional icons in gold or brass using a fine detail brush.
- Paint purity seals and scripture panels in aged parchment tones for a worn, reverent look.
4. Weapons
- Drybrush weapon barrels and launch tubes with dark steel, then edge highlight with bright silver.
- Add subtle heat staining near muzzle ends using diluted purple and blue washes.
5. Weathering
- Apply a brown or black wash into panel lines and recesses to add depth across the entire hull.
- Use a sponge or chipping brush with dark grey to add battle damage and worn paint effects along edges and corners.
6. Bases
- Base the vehicle on a scenic display tile or rubble-strewn urban base to complete the grimdark battlefield aesthetic.
