The Sisterhood of Battle's most exalted champion, Archangel Elizabeth is a breathtaking centrepiece on her scenic, a divine warrior whose great feathered wings spread wide in a display of sacred authority that dominates any tabletop she graces. Assembled from 7 precision-engineered parts including four interchangeable head options, this single figure stands atop a spectacular scenic base depicting a fallen armoured warrior crushed beneath her feet, surrounded by scattered skulls, broken weapons and the debris of a battlefield already won before she arrived. Her presence is not a warning. It is a verdict.

Available in 34mm or 70mm sizes

Elizabeth's armour is a masterwork of sacred military craftsmanship, every surface decorated with fleur-de-lis motifs, skull knee guards, beaded rosary chains and the heraldic details of a Sisterhood of Battle warrior of the highest sanctified rank. A flowing cape billows behind her as she descends, her long elegant sword held at her side with the casual authority of a being who has never needed to hurry. The four head options provide meaningful character variety: two blindfolded faces with tear-streak scars suggesting visionary sacrifice, one hooded variant and one crowned with a floral wreath, each conveying a different aspect of the sacred warrior archetype Elizabeth embodies.

The wings are the undeniable visual centrepiece of the model, each primary feather individually sculpted with exceptional naturalistic detail across the full spread. From the rear the wing geometry creates a near-perfect symmetrical silhouette that photographs magnificently and commands immediate attention on any display shelf or gaming table. The Sisterhood of Battle aesthetic is expressed throughout in the balance between martial hardware and sacred iconography, a figure that is simultaneously a weapon and a religious statement.

The scenic base raises Elizabeth above the standard tabletop level, the fallen enemy warrior beneath her feet adding narrative depth and reinforcing her role as an executioner of divine justice rather than a conventional combatant. Scattered skulls at the base perimeter and the broken staff clutched by the defeated enemy complete a composition that tells its story completely from every angle.

Supplied as a single unpainted, unassembled resin miniature in seven parts with four head options and full scenic base, Archangel Elizabeth is an outstanding display-quality centrepiece that will anchor any Sisterhood of Battle collection with unforgettable presence and devotional beauty.

Painting Guide: Archangel Elizabeth

Archangel Elizabeth rewards a palette that balances the cold authority of black and silver power armour against the warm purity of white feathered wings and gold sacred trim, creating a model that radiates divine martial power from every viewing angle.

1. Prime

  • Prime white for the wings and cape surfaces to preserve brightness for the feather highlight work above, then apply a careful targeted coat of black primer to the armour panels and scenic base before beginning, or prime the entire model grey and adjust from there depending on your preferred working method.

2. Armour Base

  • Basecoat armour plates in Abaddon Black, then layer up through Eshin Grey and Dawnstone on raised armour edges and pauldron surfaces to Administratum Grey on the sharpest highlights for a deep authoritative black power armour appearance befitting a Sisterhood of Battle champion.
  • Basecoat wing and cape surfaces in Wraithbone or White Scar, shading with thinned Apothecary White Contrast in deep feather recesses only, then drybrush progressively lighter layers of White Scar to pure white at individual feather tips for a luminous heavenly wing appearance.

3. Trim and Details

  • Paint all fleur-de-lis motifs, beaded rosary chains, armour trim and sacred iconography in Retributor Armour washed with Reikland Fleshshade, then highlighted with Liberator Gold for a rich warm sacred gold that provides powerful contrast against the black armour surrounding it.
  • Apply Nuln Oil carefully into all armour recesses, joint gaps and mechanical details, keeping it away from the wing surfaces to maintain their luminous clean appearance throughout.

4. Weapons

  • Paint the sword blade in polished silver using Ironbreaker highlighted to Stormhost Silver along the blade edges, with the crossguard and pommel picked out in the same gold as the armour trim to tie the weapon visually to the sacred aesthetic of the model as a whole.
  • Consider adding a subtle OSL glow along the blade length using thinned Hexwraith Flame or Waystone Green for a ghostly divine energy effect, or Volupus Pink for a more vivid sacred fire appearance that complements the white wing colour palette above.

5. Weathering

  • Keep weathering on Elizabeth herself minimal and deliberate, as a Sisterhood of Battle archangel maintains her appearance as an expression of faith — concentrate any battle damage on the scenic base elements, the fallen enemy armour and the scattered debris rather than the figure above.
  • Apply thinned Carroburg Crimson to the sword tip and scattered skull surfaces on the base, and add pale dust pigment to the base perimeter and fallen enemy armour to suggest the battlefield environment without compromising the immaculate appearance of the triumphant figure standing over it.

6. Bases

  • The sculpted scenic base suits a shattered gothic stonework treatment: basecoat all stone and armour in Mechanicus Standard Grey, wash with Agrax Earthshade and drybrush up through Dawnstone to Administratum Grey, then paint the fallen enemy armour in a contrasting dark colour such as Abaddon Black or Khorne Red to differentiate it visually from the base stonework, completing the tableau of a Sisterhood of Battle champion standing in absolute judgement over a defeated foe.
