Aegyptian Terror Demons - 32mm Resin Miniatures Squad

Aegyptian Terror Demons are a squad of six savage, beast-headed warriors that draw on the ancient power of Aegyptian myth and twist it into something far darker. Each figure stands approximately 32mm tall and combines the muscular brutality of a demonic war-form with ceremonial armour etched in hieroglyphic script, Ankh iconography, and ornate tabard panels that hang heavy with ritual significance. These are not soldiers. They are instruments of divine wrath given claws, fangs, and terrible purpose.

The squad presents three distinct creature types across its six models. Crocodilian-headed terrors crouch low, jaws split wide and arms outstretched with hooked talons ready to drag prey apart. Jackal-headed demons prowl forward with a predatory confidence, their broad shoulders plated in carved glyphwork and their hands raised in a gesture that sits halfway between a blessing and a kill strike. A horned, ram-headed variant rounds out the elite tier, clutching an ornate ritual staff topped with a crescent moon finial, marking it as a figure of dark authority among the warband. A second crocodilian priest variant holds a matching flame-wreathed staff and spectral fire in its free hand, lending the squad a genuine sense of arcane menace.

The modular construction shown in the component spread gives painters and collectors real flexibility. Heads, arms, and weapons are designed to swap across compatible bodies, so no two squads need look exactly alike. Every surface rewards careful painting, from the deep recesses in the hieroglyphic chest armour to the fine scale texture across the creature faces and the sinuous detail of the flame effects. Each Aegyptian Terror Demons set arrives as physical unpainted grey resin miniatures with supports already removed, cleaned, and ready to assemble and paint. A total of six models are included across the varied poses and types described above.

The palette below leans into the gold, bone, and deep earthen tones of ancient Aegyptian aesthetics while keeping the demonic flesh menacing and otherworldly. Contrast and shade washes do a lot of the heavy lifting on these sculpts thanks to the deep carved detail throughout.

1. Prime

• Prime with a grey or bone rattle can primer for maximum surface detail retention across the hieroglyphic panels and scale textures.

2. Armour Base

• Base the ceremonial chest armour and tabard panels in a dark brown such as Rhinox Hide or Dryad Bark.
• Layer up with Skrag Brown and then Ushabti Bone on the raised edges of the carved glyphs to suggest aged ivory or worn stone.

3. Trim and Details

• Paint the metal trim, Ankh symbols, and bracers in Retributor Armour or Gehenna Gold for a warm, ancient gold finish.
• Wash the gold areas with Reikland Fleshshade and then re-highlight with Liberator Gold on the sharpest edges to add depth without losing the warmth.

4. Weapons

• Paint the crescent moon staff topper in Canoptek Alloy or a silver base washed with Drakenhof Nightshade to give it a cold, lunar feel distinct from the warm armour gold.
• For the spectral flame details, base in White Scar and glaze repeatedly with Aethermatic Blue and then Hexwraith Flame to build a ghostly, crackling effect.

5. Weathering

• Stipple Typhus Corrosion lightly into the recesses of the armour panels and around the base of the staff to suggest age and ritual use over centuries.
• Drybrush Necron Compound or Terminatus Stone across the carved hieroglyphic surfaces to make the lettering read clearly from tabletop distance.

6. Bases

• Texture paste in a sandy desert mix, painted with Zandri Dust and drybrushed Screaming Skull, pairs perfectly with the Aegyptian theme. Add small resin ruins or cracked stone fragments to reinforce the ancient setting.
